I have eaten at Pattaya Thai for lunch of many occasions and, until recently, the food has been excellent. Several weeks ago, I went to lunch there with a friend and we both ordered Drunken Noodles "very mild". What we got was Drunken Noodles very hot - and it was almost inedible for us. I hate to waste food, so I did not send it back, but asked the server why our food came to us SO spicy. She said that the chef says that the Drunken Noodles recipe calls for spice - even though we were asked how spicy we wanted our meal. Today, I went back to Pattaya Thai to give them one more chance to listen to one of there customers. I again ordered Drunken Noodles and I specifically asked the server to make sure that no hot pepper flakes were added because I wanted my dish very mild with NO spice. When I got my food, it was loaded with hot pepper flakes and I simply could not believe it. I forced myself to eat it because I just cannot bring myself to waste food. My nose ran and my mouth was on fire the entire time. Needless to say - I will never go to Pattaya Thai again. The chef does not listen to the customers which is inexcusable. There are too many good Thai restaurants in Denver. I will not put up with this.

One of my fave little Thai places! Ive been 3 times in 2 months and its always fresh and delicious! I love their Phad Thai! The tofu is perfectly cooked, and the sauce is yummy but not greasy. Nice ground peanuts, crisp cabbage, cilantro, bean sprouts, fresh lime! The Salad Roll is delicious! Its cold and fresh, large and appetizing! Lettuce and Thai Basil, with crunchy veggies and delicious peanut sauce. I also love their Chicken Satay! It is cooked right, not overdone! And more peanut sauce, yum! Its a dish best to eat right away, because it is so hot from the grill it keeps cooking a little as it sits. They should be packed but its not usually. They do have a big take out biz on weekend nites. A least 6 take out orders were picked up by drivers while I ate inside. So if your food is not hot n fresh, blame the driver not the place! Funky, classic, Thai Diner interior, comfy booths, nice Zen spa music. Great, humble service and drink menu. Its a little gem!

They are very welcoming and serve fantastic food at a very low price. Eating their food takes me back to being in Thailand because their food is authentic Thai cuisine. They also serve an authentic Lao dish: Larb. Whether with beef, chicken or pork: its ALL GOOD and the hotter the better! Ive been introducing my friends to this establishment. One of them does not like to eat fish sauce, but little did he know the Coconut Chicken Soup he practically inhaled had that very ingredient. Eventually letting folks know about this place would probably make getting a table here difficult, but when you have such great people who serve such great food, they deserve to be successful and Id like to do my part in seeing that it happens.

Great drunken noodles, full of flavor, tons of different veg & nice pieces of beef. Cooked just right, seared just right. Green curry also delish, tons of great fresh veg, tasty bits of chicken. Their medium is hearty on the spice. Even tho super full, were naughty and got Thai custard; dont know how they make sticky rice so awesome & custard equally as good. Satay and dumplings on point. Our server was super sweet and on top of it in the little surprise rush he was manning on his own. The place was just as good or even better than I remembered from years ago. Wonder if the negative reviews must be the same people rating as their faves all the crappy ketchup-sugar Thai places around town that disappoint me on the reg.

Over priced for small portions of bland tasteless food. Took a very long time to arrive and was cold when it did finally arrive....Tried ordering from here with a couple girls I work with. I left enough money with the front desk at my work for my food plus tax, tip, and delivery fee, apparently others only left enough money for their order only and the driver only got a $2 tip (for which I apologize, but not my fault) but the driver then proceeded to get on the google review page for my work and rate us badly and write a bad review about me personally!!! Because he made assumptions based on the fact that the order was placed under my name. Very unprofessional, Ill never be ordering from here again.

I feel very "bait and switched" by this place. They used to be my go-to for awesome Thai. But the new owners cut corners and it shows; they overcooked my friends order, (poorly...!) microwaved our desserts, their pineapple curry was watery, the cooked chicken had a processed texture (Im guessing flash frozen), the general flavor overall in the dishes ordered was bland in comparison to the old place, the prices were increased while quality decreased. I miss my old Thai joint horribly and have a colossal amount of malaise for this restaurant that is resting on the laurels of the good place while passing off sub-par Thai cuisine! At the very least, they should change the name.

This was the place I first tried thai food. The spring rolls were my absolute favorite, and I wasnt disappointed with anything I tried. Once I found my favorite, I thought nothing of ordering it to go. It had been a few months since Id gone there, and I didnt know it was under new management, but lemme tell ya. When I got home, I was so sad. It just tasted like barbecued vegetables and freezer burned Philly meat you get from king soopers. And the spring rolls... I have no words. Very disappointed. I will not be going back, and instead looking for a new, actually authentic Thai diner. It isnt gross, I finished it all, but it was a far cry from the delicious meal I had expected.

They charged me $10.75 for the worst panang Ive ever had. Took them about 5 minutes to get to me. Very watered down, barely any coconut flavor. Seems like they took a Panang curry mix and nuked it or something AND charge me almost 11 bucks? NOPE. If you want better Thai take the time to drive to either Thai House or Star Thai, two totally unrelated restaurants so theres no bias here.

I would give them a zero, but it wont let me. We ordered delivery and after our food did not arrive for an extended period we called them. They said the delivery driver had been there and called us, then hung up. No missed calls and no message. They would not answer the phone after that
