Weve been going here, on and off, for years. The food is decent, but not anything that you cant just as easily get in lots of other places. Nice, but pricey deserts, which also vary greatly in portions, from visit to visit. But the service is usually average-to-plain-bad. Slow wait people, and they forget about you and get the orders wrong, much of the time. Its just not worth it, to us. Update: Weve been eating here, on and off, for maybe 10 years now. The food can be very good, but the service is often a 4 on a scale of 1-10, and either the wait people dont write down what we want, correctly ( Weve even seen one waitress who wouldnt write things down at all, and often got it wrong! ), or the kitchen doesnt get it right – we cant always tell which. We also feel like theres always too many carbs and calories involved in a meal, but thats true of almost all restaurants. They have a very nice entree of sirloin steak strips over salad, but pay attention to whether you want the sour sauce on it, or not. They dont appear to ask when you order. The coffee is apparently pre-ground. Id give it about a 2 on a scale of 1-10, but thats what pre-ground is. Not sure if most of their customers know the difference, or how good a well-made coffee can be. Id like to see an offering of coffee roasted there, and ground and brewed at the time of the order – that would be great. YES Id pay more for that. We love their deserts, especially the carrot cake and spumoni. Im sure the bar makes them a ton of money, but we dont drink and dont care for that end of it. The thing is, for what we want, places like Texas Roadhouse are very good and keep pulling us away from this place. If they improved the few things mentioned above, they could be much better.

OMG!!! Excellent service. Very cute waitress named jennifer...all the food was good and came out to us in a reasonable time frame..Jennifer came around every time she passed the table to check on us..which is good because we ask specific questions and require extra sauces and things...the dalmodes (stuffed grape leaves) were fresh.....at the end of our meal the owner swung by the table ( which I had guessed by the vested interest she seemed to have )....and my dad figure asked her a couple questions.and gave good feedback about service and quality of food..long story short she comped us a shot each of uzo and a baklava (which is made right in case youve never had one ) Three baklava and three uzo shots because our mother figure has family in North Carolina right now and started crying when asked about it.... the restaurant and owner has been a landmark for 42 yearsbon sheridan since before it was a one way street ...we will be going back on the weekends to see how this spot treats us long term...BONUS!!!! Its right across the street from where we live!

We frequent this diner and have been coming in for years. Its one of Denvers last awesome diners. Their portions are typically HUGE, and the food is great. The menu has a pretty big selection, so it will satisfy almost any craving. We have come in for breakfast, which they offer awesome homemade hash brown potatoes and quality bacon or steak. Coffee is pretty much unlimited, which is great. We enjoy their fresh bean coffee blend. We have noticed that their employees are typically the same, which is a HUGE indicator that they are treated well and enjoy their job. Service is good, and the place is really clean (a BIG plus when eating out). Steaks are very tasty and fairly priced (why pay huge premiums at other "steak house restaurants"). We also recommend their burgers! Can we say one of the best in town! Loyal and appreciative to have such an awesome place in Denver! Thanks guys!

The bar and restaurant are separated in the building which is different but cool! For food, I have tried their breakfast which was really good! Huge portions!! Great Gyro sandwich and awesome NY Steak!! Believe it or not, good Mexican food also! I recommend this place!!! Everyone has their own opinion about restaurants and I could go on and on about terrible places! This is not one!! What someone else likes, I might hate and the other way around. Just try them first, then judge! For the review on feb 12, every piece in there has a story! Lol I asked about the Elvis head and loved there response! As far as the 3$ orange juice, its a steal for the size they give you! Its probably over 22 ozs of juice!! Corporate places charge just as much for 1/4 the size!! Dont forget, this place is an old school diner!

Coming from a blue collar, Great Lakes native, this is family dining at its finest. So if youre expecting gourmet fare, youre in the wrong place. Bi-lingual staff, good portions, and reasonable prices established a loyal base of regular customers. There is little or no staff turnover among the wait staff, so they must be treated well. The family that runs the place treats the customers like family. The menu is diverse, so youll likely find something that you really love. The decor is decidedly Elvis against a Greek backdrop. Id pitch it as "The Odyssey meets Blue Hawaii". Maybe not a place Id go on my first date if I were trying to impress someone, but if I were serious about her shed have to meet the family and the regulars who eat here.

If I could give 0 Stars I would! We ordered 4 T bone steaks at 20 dollars a plate. I received a rotten steak that smelled of death! I showed my boyfriend told him smell he puked immediately! So I go to show the Manager/Owner and she takes a huge smell with no problems. Which leads me to believe she smells rotten food all the time. Any normal person cannot inhale the smell of death with no problems. And she tells me to get out! That is no way to treat a paying customer! No apologies no Ill talk to the cook to review the food nothing! Im beyond disgusted with this place. Before this I use to stop in from time to time, but after this NEVER AGAIN!!! This is no way to treat your customers!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR HEALTH!!

Fantastic. For a southern boy who grew up in fantastic mom and pop diners, this place is at the top of my list here in denver. I cant say enough about the kind staff and the quality food. Burgers and breakfasts are on point, and the Greek food matches the little Greek town I came from in florida. Great prices, great service, if your looking for clean, comfortable, all around fantastic diner food & experience, definitely come to the looking good cafe. Thanks to all the staff.

The food may be good but I wouldnt know. I ordered at 6 pm the other night and 45 minutes later, nothing. The restaurant was not busy. The waitress was on point, but having an extensive history in the restaurant industry, I blame the cooks. I watched the "short order cook" put out a plate every 10-15 Minutes. SMH. I ended up walking out not upset, just disappointed because I had heard good things.

GREAT restaurant!! Very good food, good prices, excellent service. Family owned in which they clearly show pride of ownership. Our family has enjoyed the American, Greek & Spanish meals for years. They are generous with their portions & serve only top quality foods! I personally recommend Angelas omelet--good anytime--yummy, along with their tasty coffee served in a good sized cup☕! ENJOY
