1st posh pizza shop in the history of pie! The pasta is decent, the veggies are amazing, and everything else unimpressive. The whole gourmet effect is lost on me apparently, because when I think gourmet I dont think kaos PIZZA I think fruition or table 6. The ingredients are decent but worst ricotta Ive ever had! Its sour! Maybe its how they make it or it was old but I have worked in the industry for awhile and never have had such foul ricotta. The service is slow and the staff is unpleasant. I ordered a pick up order of 3 items they quoted 15-20min. I show up 20min later to find my order hasnt even been put in, and the girl does not even apologize about it or attempt to make this right. I sat for another 20min and finally got my food. I rush home to eat and come to discover the order they gave me is not what I ordered, and to top it off my order was nearly $50 and not what I ordered! I will not return and caution all who goes the service is awful, the food is ok, and the prices are outrageous.

Appropriately named! Our experience at Kaos was very very unpleasant. We were greeted, but then seated in the staffs busiest traffic path. It was also where the heaviest wood smoke issued by the oven was drawn to accumulate. We watched several folks around us place orders and receive food. Over an hour and a half later, the waiter told us something had gone wrong with the pizza ordered by a person in our party and the kitchen would have to start from scratch. He noted that 1/2 its price would be deducted from the tab. We were overly hungry and feeling nauseated from the smoke. I asked if we could move to another table in a ventilated spot. The waiter did check and then told us no. We had no choice but to leave. By the way, we noted at least 3 empty tables on our way out. One kind soul did follow after us to offer an "Im sorry" and boxed hot pizza, but we declined. I guess that the fate of my linguini order will never be known... and we certainly wont go back to inquire.

Consistently delicious food is often over-shadowed by slow service. Our family is happy to wait for real, fresh food (and do so patiently on their beautiful patio area) but its beyond that. The servers are nice, and well-intentioned, but they seem to be consistently understaffed or perhaps need better customer-service training?! We love their pizza and their salads, and tell everyone about how good the food is, but plan on waiting way longer than you should just for service (we waited 10 minutes for a server on a day where there were only 3-4 other tables total). BUT, if you are not in a rush, and are cool to chill out at and wait, then Kaos is a good choice for food on Pearl.

We went to Kaos on Saturday night to take advantage of the recent Groupon coupon. Immediately we noticed a kitchy atmosphere and good beer for $3/bottle. However, our pizza took over an hour to come to us following us ordering. Needless to say I was upset. The pizza was delicious as well as the tiramisu dessert. I was about to say I would not return because of the extreme wait and the lack of action from the Kaos staff. Then, one of the staff members came over and asked us what value wed put on the meal we had. He returned shortly with a gift certificate for that value and apologized for the wait. I have to give it to them...they won me over.

Kaos Pizzeria! Has created a facebook page (search for Kaos Pizzeria), where you can find a menu, and directions. Kaos Pizzeria is a small homely pizzeria, serving pizza that Denver has been missing. With optional glutain free crusts and pies with pumpkin sauce as a base, the options are endless. Kaos Pizzeria! offers a take-out service and a delivery service between, University and Broadway, Alameda and Illiff. In the spring summer and fall there is a beautiful patio in the front, with several seats. In the spring they are going to be able to deliever alcohal along with there pizzas. Go and enjoy a one of a kind Pizzeria!

Outside seating is very comfortable, service was great, and the food was tasty. I ordered the Smokestack pizza and loved it. The crust is thin and crispy which helped me appreciate the toppings and savor each slice. The thin crust also didnt fill me up too much, as multiple slices of pizza often do. The actual restaurant building seems to be a converted house, so the layout was slightly odd but I only noticed it when going inside to the bathroom. The bathroom is single use and not that nice (blinds covered a slightly transparent glass window on the door), but thats my only critique for Kaos Pizzeria.

Good spot for pies and a drink. Courtyard is really nice and the whole place has a cool retro vibe. Service was friendly but the process for putting your name on the wait list was kinda nuts. I was behind three groups of people and it took the host 5-10 minutes to check each group in, just to put their name on a waiting list. He took drink orders and acted like a sommelier to a group of girls, describing various wines and spent 10 minutes on them. All the while 10 people behind those girls just wanted to put our names on the list. Good place but they need to tweak a few of their processes.

Love the food, but wait times are a little absurd. (Especially when there are plenty of places on pearl with short waits or that take reservations.) In the winter, weve waited about 2 hrs for a table of four. (So long that one of the people in our group couldnt eat, because it had gotten so late). I went here on a summer week day evening and had about a 45 min wait and slow service once we were seated. Delicious, fresh pizzas. The outdoor dining spaces are lovely with great ambiance. But they need to work on the service.

Had my sisters engagement party here. The staff was amazing, friendly and accommodating. Especially Jamie who helped us organize everything. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The only downsides were that the drink orders were slow at the very beginning (although we had a large group all trying to get drinks at the same time) and we had a lot of food for a long time and the flies stated getting into it. Overall Id highly recommend either for dinner or for a private event.

Its a snow day today and grilling was out of the question. The service and the food was amazing. Definitely my new and number 1 pizza place! Thank you guys for being open. Not only that but we now get delivery on the regular. Service is always amazing and even though they tell me it will take 45 min it never does it always comes earlier. You can always taste the freshness of the food. Love this place anything on the menu is delicious and you cant go wrong!

Was bored one night when the family was out of town and decided to check this place out. Since I was by myself they decided to stuff me in the back of the place but thats ok the food, service and atmosphere was great. I liked how they turned an old house into a pizza joint with great beer on tap. I cant wait to go back hopefully with my little one this time!! PS their pizza reheats nicely and still tastes great the next day. Lol can Dominoes do that?
