I guess I was just confused. My friends and I showed up in the afternoon on a Sunday and it wasnt busy at all. We walked in and no one greeted us or even acknowledged we were there. It was seat yourself so we did and no came to our table. We finally moved to the bar area where it was busier and still no service. The employees all clearly saw us however they looked the other way or kept to themselves. Finally after 10 minutes our waitress came. She also seemed to be the only one working considering the bartender was on his cell phone a lot and there were 3 other employees just walking around doing nothing. It took quite awhile to get our food and drinks and our entire experience cost us about 2 hours because everything was so slow. The manager also appeared to be there but didnt acknowledge our table at all or anyone else for that matter. He just sat at the bar on his laptop. The food was ok and the drinks were not at all what they were priced at. I see why the prices werent on the drink menu because they were WAY over priced. One of the drinks cost more than a meal and they werent even speciality ones, just ones right off the menu. Our waitress was good however she never did apologize for the wait on our drinks or the food. Overall Im very disappointed and cant believe how poor the service was. I am in customer service and to not be greeted at the door or anything to say we will be right with you or apologizing or even being greeted by a manager is very unexplainable and honestly confusing for that kind of business. They werent just like this to us either. Everyone that came in seemed to have wait a long time for their food and werent greeted at the door. I will never be going back here. Ever.

If you want decent service and food in under an hour, DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Weve been to Bar Louie twice and both times the service was grossly nonexistent. The first time we went there for lunch, it took well over 20 minutes for us to get our drinks and another 45 minutes before our sandwiches arrived. And no, they werent busy, there were only 3-4 other tables. We sincerely considered walking out as we waited for our food. We went again last Tuesday for their burger special. Around 45 minutes after ordering, or waitress, who we had not seen in quite some time, told us our food was given to another table. We waited another 30 minutes for two burgers. When our food arrived, I asked for silverware and napkins. I could see the napkin bin sitting 15 feet away. Our waiter walked right by it and did not return until we were almost finished eating. I actually got up and grabbed the silverware myself. The burgers were poorly cooked and lacked flavor. The patty is so thick that you cant taste the toppings, just burnt meat. When we requested our check, it took over 10 minutes to get and she never came back to accept the payment. We had to get up and ask the host to check us out. And the sad part is, we werent the only table doing it. The folks we started talking to were forgotten as well. Horrible service. Lousy food. Not worth the wait. We will not go there again and advise you dont waste your time.

First time Ive ever left a review: I live close and have been to this location probably 8-10 times. Each time I have yet another horrible experience. I really wish these guys could figure their stuff out because their happy hour is fantastic and they are so close to me. Last time I arrived 30 minutes before happy hour ended and expected to have a couple beers and dinner. We sat at the bar for roughly 10 minutes before moving to the other side of the bar where it looked like the bartenders were more active. Another 10 minutes goes by before we are asked what we want to drink, and then another 10 minutes to get our drinks. We watched the people next to us wait just as long for their beers as well. When the bartender gave us our drinks we asked if they were short staffed that night to which he responded "No not necessarily". We never had a chance to order food and after not hearing from the bartender once during the time we had our drinks so we could ask for our tab, I finally left money on the bar and walked out. My best experience was when our waitress apologized for all 6 of our burgers being overcooked and gave our group free tots. I still had to get up and get our own silverware because we had no way to eat it. Bottom line: Please let this place die so that we can get a better bar. p.s. they even got rid of Big Buck Hunter, so really I see no reason to ever go back again.

A group of 6-8 friends went on a Saturday night. The bar was not crowded. There were plenty of people there but plenty of open tables as well. The service was dismal. We started at the bar. The bartender serving us was a tall female. After she didnt make it to our end of the bar for over 30 minutes, we decided to move to a table. We didnt see our waitress very often, either. The food we ordered kept showing up at different times during the evening. We had to beg to get another drink. THE SERVICE WAS DISMAL AT BEST. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS BAR! DISMAL!!! When we were leaving another patron was in a heated discussion with the manager about the service. Doubt he will be writing a good review, either. The atmosphere was nice. Maybe bring your own sack lunch and flask and it would be an enjoyable evening.

Yesterday 9/18/15 was cheeseburger day my husband received two emails promoting a special for cheeseburgers for $5 and he even received another reminder an hour before we got there, when waitress came over he asked about the burger and she said oh no we do have that only on Tuesdays not today he told her about the emails : Oh that was management they decided to cancel last min they always do that all the time!!! what would you like to order? Um nothing we came for the special. No they canceled it okay well have a good day. And as we were walking out she waived and said bye pretty loud. Honestly beyond rude and no they are not all that.

Just left Bar Louie and it has lost its edge. Walked into a naked space with no check in desk and hostesses looking awkward, stuck in space with no anchor and turning their back to check computers. We were seated at a high top and then forgotten. The wait staff took forever to get our drinks and the food came out before the wine and water, no silverware. The food was lukewarm and the toast on the sandwich was as hard as a rock. This place used to nail it all the time with great food, served hot and attentive service. The last 2-3 times it has been disappointing. No wonder there is never a wait there anymore.
