We did a Groupon that was $50, for 2. It was fantastic, we got 3 glasses of wine each. Glass was in the range $9-16 each typically. Then we receive a bottle of the three choices, at. Besides that we got cheese, bread, and fruit as part of the Groupon. The place is fantastic, sharing this so others will enjoy in the experience. It was really relaxed, and new to wine, there was no pressure if your cheese.matched the wine. She liked 2 of the cheeses and I liked the other two so each ate our own. We also got the Ahi Tuna appetizer, it was really really good. I think we took photo of it an cold post it. They also had a burger, and pizza on the menu for those who want to stay in the comfort zone. I was going to order the octopus or calamari, but was already in a great place. It looks like the place also sales wine without having to go into the restaurant, and browsed briefly but the prices looked between the 12-30 range. Overall, we plan on bringing family from out of state here, as there is more interst in wine than craft beer.

The prices are much too high for what is offered. For example, the "cheese sampler" plate (which cost around $15) gave such tiny portions of each cheese that you could swallow them in one bite. I have been to several other wine bistros in the past and have never received such meagre portions. I was also diasppointed in the service, since we were one of only 3 tables there and had to get the waiter each time we wanted our bread or olive oil refilled- since he only filled the olive oil dish 1/5 full each time and only brought us a few slices of bread at at time. I am used to waiters being more aware of their customers, especially when we were only one of a few tables there! We ended up paying over $70 for only a bottle of wine and appetizers, and did not even get to the main course because of how expensive everything was. Granted the food was good.

The food and service is great Juan Carlos is an amazing server and very knowledgeable and treated us very well, however the I think he is the manager and believe his name is Zach but I am not 100% sure , either way I heard him talking to a woman and he was extremely rude and arrogant. Then to see the way he treated a couple of the employees grabbing them. Why is he physically putting his hands on employees? This does not show leadership this shows someone abusing their position because they have power. It reflects on the business, Not very professional. We for just this reason will not be returning to The Wine Experience even though other then this one person everything was great!

At first we were a bit confused walking in since we werent sure if it was a wine store or a wine bar, but it turns out it is both! My wife and I visited this nice little wine bar yesterday before going to a movie at the Southlands theater. We got there at happy hour before the crowds and sat the bar. The service was quick and the staff was very attentive. Although we were only here for about 30 minutes to have a glass of wine and an appetizer we really enjoyed ourselves. The Ahi tacos were great and the wine selection was good. We will definitely be coming back soon to give this place another shot.

Incredible wine and incredible food! Im sensitive to heartburn with wine, and I explained what works for me to the server. He listened to my needs and concerns and brought out 3 incredible tasters. Other restaurant servers elsewhere seem frustrated when I ask for more than one taster to suite my need, but Zac was incredible! I had the scallops and my date had the lamb osso bucco. We told them we were on a time crunch and I dont know if Ive had quicker service anywhere else! The ambience is warm and romantic, I would recommend this place to EVERYONE I KNOW!

Really nice place. Tucked away in the back of Southlands. I think its better that way so it doesnt get overrun like the other places down there. We were virtually alone on a Sunday night! Really good wine list that is constantly changing. Food is excellent, kinda tapas style so not gigantic portions. We both had pizza this night but have had the scallops and lamb among others and all is very tasty. Service is quick and efficient. Best part is if you find wine you like you can pick up a bottle on the way out the door in the wine/beer store.

Get ready for a lively and spectacular bistro experience. On first glace you will expect a great wine selection (well duh, it is the Wine Experience), but you may easily miss the true gem here: Out of a kitchen the size of a coat closet comes some of the most spectacular creations I have every tasted. The menu is seasonal and they always have something different to tantalize your taste buds. Nestled on the back side of Main Street in the Southlands, it may be a little hard to find, but its worth the effort!

Okay, this is a long overdue review! We have been going to The Wine Experience Cafe to visit the owner/sommolier for almost a year now and he has never, ever steered us wrong when it comes to what wine to bring to Holiday dinners, what wine to have with dinner there, and now for our upcoming wedding. We walked away after a very knowledgeable tasting, thrilled and excited to serve our guests the selection of wines chosen for our special day. We cant recommend this place highly enough.

Overpriced for what you get. I got the Mac and cheese and my husband got the tofu and quinoa. It was about $20.00 per entree and frankly the olive garden down the street probably makes a better Mac and cheese and I would have gotten a salad or soup with it too. Just because they jack their prices up doesnt mean the food is exceptional. There wasnt anything exceptional about that experience.

A gem in Southeast Aurora. Great dining, great wines, and they hit it out of the ballpark with the decor. Open kitchen, lovely wine glasses and classy. Good crowd. If you want to stay local and have an excellent dining experience, this is the place to be. A gem surrounded by a bunch of chain restaurant.

For a first time it was great! Not huge wine enthusiasts but this place has gotten the ball rolling for us with their tastings and knowledge of each kind of grape. Tuesday late afternoon wasnt crowded and only a little pricey for wine by the glass, nothing out of the ordinary. We will be back!

We went for the first time in December 2014 with friends and our 10 month old. We were anxious about bringing a baby but the staff was great and accommodating (they brought out carrots for the baby before we ordered). Thank you so much for a great evening! We definitely recommend this place!

We love this place. The food is fabulous. My husband and I live right down the street and always have been impressed with every meal. The staff is great and has great wine recommendations!!!! The grey goose martinis are also not to be missed :)
