More like 3.5⭐️ overall; 4⭐️ For a Chinese buffet. Great variety, especially when it comes to seafood. Shrimp, crab legs on an ice bed, and occasionally oysters and such. It can be busy at peak hours on certain days of the week, but service has always been excellent in my opinion (and I dine there fairly often, though more frequent in past years). Unfortunately, Kings does tend to share some of the same "issues" as most other buffets (ie) "imitation" foods (usually seafood) obviously of far less quality than their "real" counterparts, the occasional "cold-ish" dish that should have been refreshed some time ago, stale food here and there from sitting under the hot lamp for too long, and (although experienced substantially less often than the other "issues") the running out of a particular dish or item (ironically, its usually one of the favorites...). On the bright side, any issues are easily forgotten when it comes time to indulge in the well stocked dessert bar. Once its time to get up and go, everyone is so stuffed and ready for a nap that nobody thinks to complain of any minor issues they had during the food-stuffing campaign. Once again, while not a fine dining experience, Kings is a buffet. But for a Chinese buffet, Kings stands a bit above most others and can still boast inexpensive prices on top of it. Especially great for families and large groups.

The food here is fairly decent, the staff was nice and plenty of seating. However I felt that there were a few things here and there that they could take a look at. First thing is the booth they sat us at. One side of them was completely torn and was uncomfortable to sit on. Also, I asked for a Dr. Pepper and the staff told me they didnt have that so they brought me a Pepsi in a cup that said Dr. Pepper on it. I mean Cmon. Lastly the mens bathroom looked like it has seen better days. There is graffiti everywhere and paper towels were all over the place. It was nasty. Overall, those are pretty much the reason I gave this place a 4 start. I do recommend this place.

Absolutely the worst buffet Ive ever been to! Not enough Chinese American options, for example, no sesame chicken, no orange chicken, no bourbon chicken etc. salad bar was pitiful and smelled awful. The Caesar salad was never refreshed and was wilted from all the dressing. There was no other option to make a salad except dressings. Also I was seated under a broken speaker to the static from the speaker was very obnoxious. The quality of food was beyond disappointing. I wish I had left instead of eating there. Saw a sign they just raised their prices. Shocking honestly.

The food appears to be appetizing and the decor draws you in with a nice looking and very spacious restaurant. Lastly the large selection of food gives you hope but do not listen! The food was cold, not room temperature quite cold. It tasted old, stale, and you could immediately tell it had been sitting for perhaps over an hour. I tried everything from chicken of differing flavors to chewy potstickers and rock hard spring rolls. If I had to give one positive thing to say is that the fried rice wasnt ccompletely awful. Please do not waste your money.

People dont know what a buffet is until they try the King Buffet. Ive been to other King Buffets and they are all alike. Stop crying about the language barriers and shove the food in your face. The place is clean, good service and the management WILL answer any question you have. Although they didnt have duck sauce, they had 8 differant varieties of sushi prepared. Delicious!! Buffets are not made for the persons who fancy fine dining but who want to gorge their faces with all sorts of dishes prepared by skilled chefs.

For the first time, not bad. Looking at business owner prospective, I wouldnt make tons of food for a non busy hours, perfect sense. From customer prospective, the food is good for the price. It is oriental food but also have Mongolian hot plate to create your own. Nice selection and staff are not in your eating business. They are accessible if you call them and they be more than happy to help. Overall good but not a great number 1. I would go back for the sushi. Loved every pieces. Thank you.

Its a buffet. Lower your expectations. Me, my wife my kid, grandma and wifes brother all like going to Kings Buffet on X-Mas day. Most of the food is good. There are a few items that have been sitting under the hot lamps too long but again its a $12.99 buffet. Ive spent more on Chinese Buffets in the bay area that were not as good as Kings. Service is average to good on X-Mas day as there are probably not more than 30 people.

Went in tonight and it was completely dead which is usually a first sign to me, however despite that me and my boyfriend tried several items that they had and we love Chinese! While eating the food most items tasted off and were very hard. Even the pineapple and Mellon tasted off. With all of this in mind I do not feel I will return to this establishment and I wish them further luck with another poor soul.

Went on a Saturday afternoon around 2 pm. The food was great, had a good atmosphere and nice selection of food. Came out to around $14 per plate. The sushi was good, soup, chow mien, beef and broccoli, rangoon, coconut shrimp, all was very good. I was very pleasantly surprised as these places are sometimes touch and go. One thing is my water never got refilled the whole time I was there.

The food here was bad and weird. the seafood smelt horrible- never a good sign. the employees watched us like a hawk like we were going to dine and ditch or something. The sauce for the food had absolutely no flavor and to top it off , this place is fricken expensive, save your self your money and taste buds integrety and head over to Chin Hua, now thats some good food!

The buffet seemed a bit fresher than others and the guests get quick attention when drinks are low. They use jasmine tea and they should be using oolong in my opinion. If they could get higher backed booths for noise control and oolong tea they would have five stars. In addition to the Chinese food they have some international and American classics for any picky kids.

Been here a few times over the years. The past couple of times were not so great but this time is probably the last. My teenager, who Loves buffets (even mediocre ones) and eats for hours, didnt even finish his first plate. Food was kind of cold, fried rice was bland, some foods tasted old and about to go bad, coconut shrimp was so SOGGY that it was inedible.
