In-N-Out, thats what a hamburgers all about! Hopefully in the future, Ill see an In-N-Out on the East Coast. In the meantime though, I have no problem going to Cali to get my In-N-Out fix. Out of all the fast food burger chains, In-N-Out is without a doubt my favorite. Theyve been around since the late 40s and developed a cult following. 100% beef chuck ground in their grinding facilities. Delivered fresh every single day. Its never frozen, and that makes a huge difference compared to other chains. The bun-to-meat-to-condiment ratio is perfect, with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, grilled onions, hot pickled chilies, and a Thousand Island-esque spread. Love their toasted soft rolls that hold and absorb the sauce without falling apart like some burgers (AHEM, Five Guys). The cheese is gooey, toppings are fresh, and theyve got their own special awesome sauce. And two more words: Animal Style. For quality, freshness, consistency, customer service, and value, In-N-Out wins hands down. Youre going to get the best customer service at In-N-Out versus other fast food burger chains. They treat their staff really well too; its very employee-centered and thats a rarity these days in fast food chains. If Anthony Bourdain, Thomas Keller, Gordon Ramsay, Julia Child, and Mario Batali are all fans of In-N-Out, that says something. In-N-Out is definitely what a hamburger should be all about.

I went to in n out with my friend today on his lunch. We walked in and a lady took our order. My friend ordered just an animal style fry that is all. After us in line there was a group of kids. We sat and patiently waited for our order. After about 10 minutes we still had not gotten our order even though all we had was fries. There were orders much larger than ours being served with not only burgers, drinks, shakes but ANIMAL STYLE FRIES. Pretty soon we started to notice that even the group of kids ( who were behind us in line) were even getting their food which included burgers and oh what do you know, animal style fries. We waited a little longer and the lady noticed we still hadnt gotten out 1 ORDER OF FRIES so she told a cook and he looked over and shook his head. After 25 minutes we ended up canceling the order of fries because his lunch was pretty much over. The lady at the register told the cook she had talked to earlier to cancel the fries Which he had still NOT EVEN BEGAN TO MAKE. She said she was sorry and just gave my friend his cash back. This visit was very irritating and it was horrible service. Honestly there were about 10 people who had gotten their full order of burgers before we got our little 1 order of fries. I really am disappointed and hope that it wasnt because my friend was wearing makeup.

Being born and raised in Southern California has left me feeling entitled to get In N Out whenever I want, assuming they are open. This place is an exception to that rule. Do not come here during lunch during the week. Its packed with yuppies usually ordering food for their office. Traffic sucks getting in and out of here, not so much the INO parking, but the district in general. Like all INOs its pretty much 4 stars, clean, friendly, good food, fresh. Some INOs are much worse on the parking, others better, but rarely will you find the golden 5 star. Come here for dinner because the district calms down and the lack of housing nearby makes the kids go elsewhere.

I came in for lunch with a friend today. I got a simple animal fries with no onion and the cashier rang us up (she was African american) I work in the district and only had a 30 minute lunch and spent it all there and got no fries. They skipped my number and gave everyone else their food who had bigger orders but couldnt give me my simple animal fries? The cashier saw us staring so she reminded the guy and he still made animal fries but put them in other peoples orders. I actually had to ask for my money back and she told the guy to cancel the animal fries when he wasnt even making them. Hope it wasnt cause I was wearing makeup. Worst service ever.

I was very excited to try in n out for the first time because so many people told me its amazing and I have to try it. There is NOTHING special about this place. The fries were okay but most of them were overcooked and too crunchy. Their "secret sauce" is thousand island dressing which is not even good and extremely fattening. Their burger was okay but again, nothing special about it. I could make a much better burger then this. The staff were very nice and friendly but I just think the whole in n out craze is OVERRATED. Try smashburger or burger 21. Those are 10x better than this.

In n out is definitely the prime location for good fast grub but over the years Ive gone to this in n out a handful of times and each time Ive been really disappointed. From order mistakes in the drive through to undercooked patties, they definitely have some quality control issues. Shame since I used to work close by and stopped going all together and now when friends or relatives visit and crave in n out I always take them to the location next to UCI

Innouts the best. This one is no exception. The only caveat to this one is the location is difficult. The district is very poorly designed for entrance/exit. It will take you at least 5-10 minutes or even more depending on the time of day to just exit the district, not to mention get to where youre going. Still, cant beat delicious burgers, fries and shakes for what remains the best price in fast food (at least here in southern cali)

This is the second time Ive had In-N-Out. The first time I had it was out of LA. Value-wise, ID say its one of the better burgers Ive had. Flavor and service-wise, its definitely one of my tops. The presentation was vet nice and gave a feeling of a time when things were much simpler. The burger itself was fresh and delicious. Im not a huge fan of their fries though. The burger I got was a double double animal style.

Although In"n"Out Burgers Is normally rated best burger in Southern California, I actually prefer Carl Jrs Famous Star with cheese. In-N-Out has a limited menu to choose from but that can be a good thing with the number of customers they normally have inside their stores. A plus, is their "fast food truck" which is a full mobile shop on wheels, with around 20 staff working the operation..

As far as fast food burger joints go you dont get much better than in and out burger. The quality of food is much better then other fast food places and the food always taste great and fresh. The fries are homemade and you can see them cutting the fries in the kitchen which is awesome. Try your fries animal style which is them adding there secret sauce and cheese on top of the fries.

Cant even get IN, let alone get OUT. Worst location for a "fast food" joint Ive ever seen. I can get a table, dinner, and check at a crowded sit down restaurant before you can ever figure out how to get a parking spot to this place. Guess they want locals only (fine by me).
