This place is AWESOME!!! Whenever I feel homesick Island Gourmet is my fix. I come here atleast once or twice a week. My favorites are Pinakbet, Chicharron, Tinola Manok, Sinigang, Kare Kare, Bitsu Bitsu and Halo Halo. Wonderful people anf outstanding customer service! The owners are so nice! I love how they butcher their own pig and actually sell FRESH fish on ice. The food is pretty consistent overall a great filipino spot. I would choose this place over Goldilocks, ChowKing, and Max's ANY day.

Ive been going here since 2002 I think... & theyve never disappointed me (unless I go too late in the day and they are out of caldereta). My family and I have also catered with them multiple times and everything was perfect. I also love it because its family owned and who doesnt love supporting local small businesses.

I ordered crispy pata and asked if they have a dip made for it, like one from the original menu. They said simply they dont know about it, dont make extra for it. theyre just the help and the boss dont tell them about it. Im Filipino but the way they treat their own kind is unbelievable!

They offer consistent quality and good portions, especially on the takeout items and catering trays. Perfect spot to get lumpia for your party. Call and order ahead, they get busy.
