Dirty, old and not good! The whole place is covered with old dust over spider webs, especially on the lights fixtures on the walls. The toilets are dirty and, probably, cleaned just once a day. The furniture is, at least 30 years old and falling apart – everything made of Formica that cannot hold together any longer. Very depressing. The place lacks an employee room, where they can store their jackets, blouses, etc. The change happens inside the dining room, where employees roll up their clothes in plastic bags and stuff them in a drawer. It happens that a place is ran down, but the food is good. That is not the case here. The food is just plainly tasteless. A bunch of ingredients put together with no heart, soul or science. We ordered a seafood fried rice ($13.00) which had 2 shrimp, lumps of cheap white fish (sole or tilapia) and IMITATION crab meat. Absolutely without any spices, salt or anything that give it a little life. The Chicken Shanghai Style ($10.00) looked more like a plate of water chestnuts and green pepper in a liquid gravy - very disappointing. Customer service is inexistent. We were greeted by a Chinese woman that asked “Are you three only” that sounded more “You are not welcome here”. The waiter and the servers acted like they were doing us a favor. No one pays a minimum of attention to you in any way. Don’t waste time, money and most important, avoid becoming frustrated. Go somewhere else to eat. Find another place.

I DONT KNOW HOW THIS RESTAURANT STILL STAYS OPEN! THE OWNER OF THIS RESTAURANT IS HEARTLESS!! I took my 4 children to this restaurant tonight for dinner after along day driving from Las Vegas and we were all starving. I ordered Calamari which my 5 year old-loves. The Calamari came out white and I didnt have a chance to try them before I feed my kids. One of my children said the Calamari is sweet thats when i tasted the Calamari. They were STALLED AND ALL THEY SEASONED WITH WAS MSG!! then came the rice it was so stalled and old looking that made me think that they collected all the leftover rice from the tables. I complaint about being old, the waiter forcefully when and get us a "new" pot and he said the rice was newly cooked which looked a little better but still very distasteful. We left with a table full of foods and still paid them but NASTY!!!! PLEASE DONT FEED YOUR CHILDREN OR FAMILY WITH THAT KIND OF FOOD!!!! I will report this restaurant to the Health Department. This is my first review ever and have never report anyone but this restaurant needs to be SHUT DOWN!!! You dont feed customers something that you wouldnt dare to put in your mouth. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!

All I have to say is that if you are tolerant of sticky tables and crowded rooms with loud chatter, you will be soundly rewarded with some of the best Torrance has to offer. Get the Fried Fish if you like seafood and one of the Pork Chop dishes if you like meat. Its also cheap for what they give you. (Dinner is HUGE!) Also, Seafood Port, which is only 15-30 minutes away, is pretty much the exact same restaurant, but smaller.

Food was delicious, extremely bad customer service hadnt even finished our food and they brought the tab packed our food with out even asking us, we literally only sat down for 15 min worst service ruined the fact that the food was good waiters didnt even make eye contact smile, my husband and I felt discriminated b/c we didnt see this happening with other customers. Rating this one star is being to nice.

All the people that work there are nice, but I had a hair in my food today ,I told the waiter but he didnt understand me much. I was way too tired to explain to him so I just pay the bill wrapped it up and left , Im afraid the next time I come and I complain theyre not going to be as nice anymore. But they have always been nice to me and the food is good I like it.once in a while

Cheap but very yummy lunch!! Their lunch menu is very good valued, and their dinner is pretty fairly priced too. Usually my family prefer Seafood Port because their taste is more authentic than this place, but this place is very good too. Seafood Town has slightly more Americanized flavor to their cooking.

Kung Pao Shrimp and Crab Special are the best items on the menu. Ive been here many times and will continue to. Now saying that, the restaurant does have faults; poor decor, and bathroom, cheap furniture and some menu items are comparable to Panda Express (not a compliment). Other than that try the place.

They have a tremendous amount of goodies on there menu and it isnt hard picking one trust me in that. Out back bbq style everything. The waitresses are kind and its right next door to Delamo mall with is 1 or the biggest Malls in America. You will be back if you check this location out. A+++

Chinese restaurant fit for the average American palate. Chopsticks upon request. MSG without a doubt. Small parking lot out front. Does the job if you want not-bad Chinese food in a large restaurant format but this is not food a person from San Gabriel Valley would crave

The food is awesome. The salt and pepper fried fish is the best. Even though they give you a lot of food I still dont feel heavy after eating. The price is also good for everything that you get. The waiter seemed a little rude or rough at first but everyone is nice.

Some of the best Chinese food to be had locally. The salt and pepper fried fish is heavenly! Everything was delicious, and weekdays the prices are discounted. Even the jasmine tea was excellent. My new favorite for Chinese.

This place is amazing! HUGE portions for a great price. Definitely not a place to goto by yourself, best if you bring a few friends, so you can order a few things and everyone share. And still have leftovers!

Nice and clean, fast with a little bit of KAOS , However, great Chinese food and they are open when the rest of the world is closed! Try all the dishes, you will find them to be one of the best in Los Angeles!

The food is good but the place is dirty. I dont want to eat in a dirty restaurant. My wife thinks this is better than Seafood Port and she says both are authentic Chinese. I guess they have the same owners.

This has been one of my familys favorite restaurants for over twenty years. Hong Kong style chow mein is better here than anywhere else Ive been in my life, but all the sauces here are amazing too.
