When asked what is the best sushi joint in town I automatically reply "RA Sushi" just as confidently as if I were to answer "What color is the sky?" with "blue". Though the quality of sushi is only mediocre, the service ranges from absolutely atrocious to decently friendly, and the music is often so loud that I have to cup my hands and scream to be heard, RA will also hold a special place in my heart. What positive things do I have to say about this place? There are few, but they are significant. Two words: Happy Hour. Ra has a wonderful happy hour, all the highlights on their menu are priced at nearly a fourth of what they originally cost (around $4 for a roll, $2 for an appetizer) and drinks are reasonable at approximately $3.50 a cocktail. A popular favorite is the extra big Kirin and sake, perfect tool to get your evening going at a smashing price of $5. Why choose RA sushi over any other...EVERY other sushi house? For NO other reason than the fact that you can effortlessly walk out both pleasantly plump and pleasantly tipsy for less than $15!

This place is one snazzy looking Japanese sushi restaurant. The atmosphere is more like a club and they even have a DJ there in the evenings. The hostesses are always dressed like theyre going partying and the ambiance is great to hangout with friends to have some drinks. As far as the sushi goes, I myself am not really a fan of sushi because I dont like crab meat. I do like this place though because they have a variety of sushi that misses that nasty ingredient. I normally play it safe and go for something salmon like a spicy salmon roll but at times I get adventerous and go for things out of the ordinary. They never miss when it comes to the food. But the real star of the show is the dessert known as CINNAMON TEMPURA ICE CREAM. Its a decadent tempura fried cinnamon ice cream cut into 4 slices powered with cocoa and has chocolate and raspberry sauce drizzled all over it. YUMMY.

You gotta try the original RA Sushi Bar Restaurant Mmmmm... Chicken is Shrimp either way they both taste good.The only thing I dont like is that they dont take orders by phone u gotta order through eat 24 or uber eats, why does everything have to do with Internet man. Can u just pick up the home and take orders maybe I have cash and not credit that day. Technology now adays. I for one dont like it. Other than that try RA Sushi Bar Restaurant.

Extremely overpriced. Only come here during their happy hour or on your half-birthday (but sign up for their emails or else is advice is pointless). I love their Las Vegas rolls. It’s so flashy and cute, but it is also delicious! The décor is fancy for a sushi joint and great spot for date night. I recommend sitting at the bar and be friendly with the chefs and you just might be treated with a special treat.

We went to eat there on a rather busy night and for a party of 8 was told 45-1 hr wait. After 1:15 minutes I decided to inquire how much longer, and was told that our name was crossed off the list. The hosts couldnt offer an explanation and said it would take another 15-20 minutes. When I used the restroom, most of the dining room was empty. Needless to say I wont be going back to this place anymore.

If youre looking for the best, highest quality sushi, look elsewhere. If you want pretty good sushi, at decent prices, and a nice atmosphere, youre looking at the right place. If you come during happy hour, youll be even more impressed. 1/2 price on many basic rolls with a few different ones tossed in, along with $1 hot sake (not great, but hey, its hot sake. do a bomb and dont be picky).

Service and fish is an abomination. Most pseudo Japanese restaurants do ok, but this is horrible. The workers seem more interested in hitting on each other customers than paying attention to what they are doing. Nice interior but thats it. Dont waste your hard earned money here, if you think this is authentic by any means, I got piece of a bridge I want to sell you. Youve been advised.

This is the best sushi Ive tasted. Viva Las Vegas Roll and Tootsi Maki would be my favorites; very unique. If you sign up for the Halfy Birthday thing, they give you $20 worth of free sushi when its your half-birthrate! Its pretty affordable during happy hour, Monday-Thursday. $2-$7.75 of their best dishes in my opinion. You havent tasted sushi till youve eaten at RA.

Good food, nice staff, and good atmosphere. We typically go for happy hour and just get multiple things from the list. One thing they need is a selection of bento boxes for kids (a box with teriyaki chicken + tempura + California roll, would be perfect for my kids).

Trendy looks and decorated with late hours and good food but it could be a bit over priced. Good selection of desserts as well. I do suggest to visit during happy hour and asked to sit at the bar where you can have the chef right in front of you. They are very friendly.

I was not into this place at all. Service was okay. Food was whateva- only liked the chicken wings. Rolls were not good but my husband did like the las vegas. Only good thing is they do give u a good amount of food for happy hour. I do not think I will return.

Food was average at best. I have had some hole in the wall Japanese food and sushi that blows this out of the water. If the prices were lower it wouldnt be to bad. They charge like they are a quality sushi place but only gives you sushi Mac quality sushi.

The place is too hip for the room. It might be a decent place to get sushi if you enjoy the LA hipster lifestyle, take out is lousy, and portions are beautifully presented, but unreasonably small. And expensive. We will not be going back.
