Great Peruvian food and live entertainment! I had the pescado saltado, which came with little chunks of a white, mild flavored fish, sautéed to perfection with onions, tomatoes and finger cut potatoes. It looked totally weird to see the potatoes cut like french fries and all mixed into the dish, yet the flavor was simply delicious. The pescado saltado was served up with a heap of white rice. We also shared a side of Peruvian beans, which were so creamy but lacked salt, perfectly sweet plantain, a nice complement to the savory flavor of everything else. We also had an order of the fried yucca, it was perfectly fried crisp outer edges and soft and hot in the inside. Before they bring you food out they serve soft white bread with butter, nothing special here. Dont forget to try the green sauce on the table, its a minimally spicy condiment packed with flavor, so good I wanted to drench my food in it. My dish also came with a chicken soup as a starter. The service was good our waiter was attentive and helpful with explaining the menu. Our food came out quickly. Next time I go Ill try one of the vegetarian dishes. They had many vegetarian options. They also have a live band on Friday. It was two men playing live music from various instruments and singing. The atmosphere was family oriented. Not too loud, as we could hear our entire table even with the live music.

This was one of my favorite restaurants until last week. I had the worst experience ever, with both the food and customer service. It was such a disturbing disappointment. My food was ice cold, my server was inattentive, the wait to return my food and then relieve it was incredibly long. I was not offered any kind of apology from both the server nor the manager after I spoke to him. The manager was very rude and disrespectful, not professional at all. I couldnt believe the quality of the customer service, they must not value their customers. I will NOT be coming back. That night was unacceptable to all degrees.

Best Lomo Saltado ever! the meat is marinated and done very well. Plate comes with some vegetables that are grilled with the meat and french fries. Very good portion plate that at time I am not able to finish all together. The place is decorated with Peruvian style items and tones reassembly a village. Depending on the day and time you visit there may be a wait. This seams to be one of the most popular locations, I dont remember what the other closer ones was since it has been more than several years since I have visited. Regales of the wait, it is absolutely worth waiting for the delicious food

Came here for dinner on a weekday and it was decently crowded. No wait or anything, but about half full. Considering its Torrance, I was surprised. My girlfriend had the lomo saltado which was the number one dish for a reason- its really just beef, onions, peppers, and french fries, but it was so flavorful with spices. Definitely a must get. I had a breaded steak on top of basil spaghetti, which was good, but not nearly as tasty as the lomo saltado. The service was very friendly and attentive. Id come here again.

The food and services were very good. BUT, as you walk in there is the bar. The bar was a MESS. Glasses bottles of alchohol, and mixers were everywhere. I saw 4 cartons open dairy products. With the bar being at the open front door, it is welcome for flies and other bugs to get into these open cartons. There was no bartender. Look like each waiter were making drinks, with those dairy products. I informed the manager. He had someone put away the dairy. But how long was it sitting there before I said something?

I love the food, but the service was horrible! Our waiter never came around to refill our waters, we had to ask for our picarones to go because they were taking too long, I had to get up and ask for boxes and to top it all off, the picarones never came. I proceeded to ask for my money back for them, and the waiter began arguing on who picked them up and asking me if they were to go! All I wanted was my money and they just kept asking if they were to go and giving my excuses. Ill never go to this location again.

Staff are extremely rude, no patience for customers who may be new and not knowledgeable of menu. Placed an order via telephone and before I could ask questions about a particular dish, and ask for recommendations, she hung up the PHONE! If the food is good I may bump up the rating by 1 star, but to me, the staff are the first line that bring customers through the door. If your staff are RUDE and inconsiderate you lose potential customers and money, which is No Bueno! Please offer a customer service training!!!

This is the first time that i go to a peruvian restaurant and they dont have the mayonaise that they are famous for, the service was horrible, i took for ever to get the atenttion of the waiter, we had to get up to go findf him, then we ordered picarones and they were burned in the outside and undercook in the inside, when we returned them and asked for other ones they said they will be tthe same way, but they did brought up the check right away. I DONT RECOMEND YOU EAT HERE.....FIRST AND LAST TIME HERE.

Passing to go once a month, will now be once a year, strive to assist but the food is increasingly bad and less Peruvian rice graining has nothing, all masacotudo, my Lomo was not Saltado, if Assaulted not, meat and meat was scarce even Peruano not fool with the taste and less potatoes with onion or tomatomatada! My husband ordered a rice with seafood Mommy 1 to 10 .... 2 said, based chicken wing I asked for my kids super-bland and tasteless and finish the frios

Please what ever you do, do not eat this crapspecially do no cater this so call food to your parties. my son cater to 50 people from this place and half of his guests ended up with food poisoning from unproper cooked chicking. i know of one person with severe e coli infestation for a whole week. Do yourself a favor and avoid. getting sick or your guests risking getting sick. There are better choices of foods for you and your guests. El pollo Loco is way better then this crap.

Basically I ordered food for pickup, picked it up, got home and the order was wrong. When I picked up I was told the right order, then charged the wrong amount and given the wrong bag of food. In the end, the manager decided to give us the same cold food and a 20 percent discount, although I was still overcharged for the original order. I live about 30 mins away so dinner was ruined and management should have been a bit more accomodating. Fresh food at least!
