I cant thank you guys enough. I have been coming to Cali Comfort for the past 5 years and I am still amazed with how good the food tastes. Today my boyfriend had friends visiting from Chicago and weve decided to take advantage of the good weather and sit by the pool and barbecue. Two years ago I had a little pool party for my birthday. As usual, I tried doing everything myself - I made the drinks, little burgers for a late lunch, snacks, birthday cake and my boyfriend helped me with a gorgeous pasta dish for dinner. We did not have time to socialize whatsoever - between BBQ, drinks, moving and serving things, we barely had time to sit down. While I loved having my friends and loved ones over, I felt so stressed out! Definitely not the best feeling you want to associate with your birthday party! So, today, I figured - lets get some To Go catering from Cali Comfort BBQ. We love their food and they have awesome To Go options, the perfect match to our little pool party! We placed an order 72 hours in advance and everything was ready right on time! We got 2 slabs of pork ribs, 2 whole chickens (you know they cook them for 4 hours in a bbq smoker?), 3 sides of wedding BBQ beans that are to DIE, 1 side of mac-n-cheese (kids were coming to the party) and half of a pan of Peach cobbler. All of our guest loved the food! From a 70 year old lady to a 10 year old adorable little miss, everybody finished their plates and asked for more. Ribs were falling off the bone, so tender and delicious you dont need a knife to separate them from each other! Another thing that I liked about them is that they didnt have too much BBQ sauce on them. A mason jar of homemade BBQ sauce was provided on the side, so everybody can enjoy as much sauce as they want (or if you are like me, put BBQ sauce on everything). And this stuff is awesome, good enough to drink! Even though I have been a customer for a while, Ive never had their peach cobbler before. Being the typical girl, I watch how much food I get to enjoy. Well, today I got to try some and this stuff is AMAZING! I am from Bulgaria (small country in Easter Europe) and Ive only had a cobbler once before, I remember it being somewhat dry and more like a butter cookie. Calis peach cobbler was absolutely delicious, very moist and flavorful and it just melts in your mouth. I realize my review is getting long, but I am just so happy with the food, the day I got to spend with my friends and loved one and oh yes, the price was perfect! Last time I planned an event like this, the food cost double and I had to cook all day. Just wanna say thanks, this really was a great day and Cali Comfort BBQ made such a difference for me!

We came in here for happy hour after many times considering it. They have a cool logo and its fairly centrally located. Walking in it looked like we were coming into a cheap motel... It looks like a Motel 6 that has been converted into a restaurant with all the units still behind. Not the end of the world and in fact the interior of the restaurant is extremely spacious the bar is also decent an appearance. Since it was happy hour the beers were a dollar off so instead of being 11 bucks they were $10. The appetizers were 50% off which in theory is a good deal. We got the brisket nachos... They came out fairly quick and at first glance was a good by for 650. Upon further inspection it was clear that Upon eating it the meat tasted sweet and slightly fermented I had a fear were only three clumps of brisket which were fatty and Gelatenous and very little cheese. Upon eating it the meat tasted sweet and slightly fermented...pushing fears to the back of my mind I dove in. I couldnt taste that "famous smoky flavor" anywhere! Hoping that it was an off – we carried on noting however not to get my favorite thing which is the brisket. Basically the menu consists of a burger pork ribs pulled pork brisket or try to. Since you can get burgers anywhere and I prefer beef or pork I asked about the try tip I asked can I get it medium rare? She said she was going to ask the kitchen and came back with that answered that yes I could get it medium rare. I decide to get that and my girlfriend got pork ribs. The food came out a few minutes later and to my surprise the server told me "here is your pink tri tip". This made me laugh, it was about 10 razor thin slices of tri tip the thickness of lunch meat and it was as well done as well done gets. The meat was awful and her pork ribs were very dry and actually were old as well. There was a rainbow sheen to my tri tip. Well its been about an hour and a half since we left the restaurant and I have been to the restroom three times and get this the bill was $105

The Bf, daughter and I came here the other day cause so many people have made comments on their BBQ, and you know how we love that BBQ! Our server Mike was kind and very attentive. The only thing truly disappointing is that after 5 if you have anyone under 21 they put you in this back room with one TV and it feels small and a little segregated... Like the unwanted redheaded step child. Oh well. Every day in addition to their daily specials they also have a daily special special. For example, this day was half off all Martinis! For the win! I forget exactly what I had but best believe I drank it all with no complaints... And ate that alcohol infused cherry at the bottom... And for me not complaining, well that is very unusual. I wish Mike and his shadow (I forget her name) would have told us about the daily specials.. $1.50 sliders! Totally would have gone for a pork slider, burger and whatever else they were serving up! It is written on a chalk board at the entrance but we didnt take notice until we were on our way out. We shared the pulled pork sand which with onion rings, was pretty good. Fiona got the kids meal sliders, and because I checked in on yelp we got free rib tips, usually $10.99. Overall it was good. They have a decent beer selection. I would like to visit again when I can be in the big kids room and not feel like Im stuck at the kids table away from the action...

Checked this place out for the first time the other day. Have been looking for a different BBQ spot other than my two go-tos (Phils & Bubbas). I think I may have found it...maybe. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was pretty okay. It was supposed to come with beans, but it came out with the onion rings that we originally ordered on the side. No biggie I guess. They also had a descent beer selection which is an important part of my dining experience. Our server (Mike) was attentive and cordial. A few other servers also checked in to make sure that everything was satisfactory. However, it wouldve been nice if we were told about the daily special (sliders). They have it posted on the outside, but I didnt take notice until we left. Wouldve been nice to know that I couldve had $1.50 pulled pork sliders. I will definitely try this place again, because I gotta try the ribs....thatll be the ultimate deciding factor. Pleased with the joint so far... It was also nice that they had a CHECK IN special of free rib tips! YUMMMM!
