It is no surprise why this place has such high ratings on Yelp. I look this place up on Yelp and it did not disappoint. When I pulled up there was a line out the door which for me is always a good sign it means the place is worth going. I got parking right in front totally meant to be. When I walked in and said itd be a 20-minute wait and I look up at the counter and there was a spot Mass if I get out of the counter spot and they said no problem. I love the counter is that new place as I get to see the food come in and out. And the presentation on everything was just making me even more hungry. Staff was very prompt. You could see that the staff really worked well together everybody was in tune and everybody help each other I ordered the country Benedict what is eggs benedict with a sausage patty it was outstanding the country potatoes were made with red potatoes with a nice Browning to them. I was totally stoked I found this gem my favorite meal of the day is always breakfast. And lets face it you gotta love the name.

My family came here for the first time & enjoyed quick, friendly service from Gina & other crew. Food came quite speedily and portions & flavors were satisfying. Someone came around to refill coffee often. Flavored creamers are available upon request. There is a coffee station outside the restaurant while you wait for a table. The entire place is very CLEAN. This is the kind of place you enjoy your food and look around the tables around you and want what other people are having, too. Everything that comes out of the kitchen looks so good. The crew takes orders using tablets and accepts credit cards using the same tablets, so they never walk away with your card, if thats a concern for you. Would come again.

Had the Double Double, lacked flavor, fries where only 11. Of them. All the time eating staff passed by and saw my empty glasd of Diet Coke, yet not one offer to refill it. Paid with a $50 dollar bill, waited for 20 minutes to get change. Our waitress kept on passing by , till i flagged a differet one and asked for my change they acted like zi was crazy and had paid exact change. Then I informed them no IT WAS A FIFTY BILL.. They said sorry and brought my change, I ran out after not looking back.. Traveling from Long Beach I will inform buddies to stay away from cheap service and thieves that work there...

I have never left The Breakfast Club unhappy. Their food and service is amazing. I especially LOVE their crab cake bennie and the corn beef hash bennie! Freaking amazing! I could be so stuffed but find it within myself to finish my food LOL This restaurant is one of those places where families come together for a nice meal and great company. They are more than willing to work with large parties and are very fast at their table turn around. In other words you will not wait long to be seated (most days except Sundays) and you will not wait long for your food!

Had to stay over in seaside for work and found breakfast club on Google map. I Went early evening and had the caprese salad and fried chicken basket. The caprese was really fresh and really good. The chicken was crispy and crunchy just the way I love it. Even the breast was still moist inside. The fresh biscuit was almost as good as the ones I make. The only thing that wasnt great were the fries. The French fries were just not crispy enough except for the small "minu-taters". Overall I think the food was really good and the service was outstanding

As opposed to another reviewer... I thought the Eggs Benedict were very good. The sauce on the dish I was served was the traditional Hollandaise Sauce and I loved it. The pancakes are good too. I live nearby and have eaten here many times. The service is always top notch. I have noticed that the staff has adopted a little tradition... whenever a new customer walks through the door every waiter/waitress and busboy calls out, "Sit anywhere you like!" Pretty funny. BTW... the staff is pretty easy on the eyes. Mmmmm

Great, filling meals with decent prices. There was a wait for Saturday breakfast but it dissipated quickly as the staff stay on the ball seating people, servicing them, and getting patrons out. You walk up to the venue and sign your name and walk outside. I had been seated in my party of three and was later asked if I would move my seat in order to allow them seat a party of 6 by combining my table with another empty one. The coffee and hot cocoa left much to be desired, but the food is tasty, ample, and comes fast.

I moved to Monterey 2 years ago and was told that this is the place for a great Breakfast. I have gone there at least once a week since. The food is good and the service is great. If you are going on the weekend prepare for a bit of a wait. They have free coffee outside while you wait. The Newton family are the owners (no relation to me), and they really know how to run a business. They just opened a small bar for cocktails and are serving beer and wine based drinks. I will be back for years to come.

Food arrived fast and the quality was fantastic. Service was great. A great family establishment. They open early and close in the early afternoon. No dinner hours... because well... its a breakfast place. Discovered this place from a recommendation of the hotel keeper as we stayed down the street. This place beats all of the franchise breakfast places bar none. Its located in a corner of a strip mall. I may seem out of the way, but the locals know about it. Im glad one referred me to it!

The Breakfast Club is a nice independent establishment in the Monterey Peninsula. Its diner food, so dont expect a log of vegan/vegetarian options. But as for diner food, they do an awesome job. You can get breakfast at any point (hence the name of the restaurant), but they also have a regular lunch/dinner menu. The prices are competitive for the area. Its great for small groups as well, but if you group is more than 10 people, I would suggest somewhere else. Its a local favorite.

I had the Banana Nut French Toast with a Mocha Frappuccino. Their portions are very generous, and the Banana Nut French Toast may have been some of the best French Toast Ive ever had! And to top that off, the service was as great as the food. The kitchen accidentally made an extra omelette, and decided to give it to us for free rather than let it go to waste. Although, Id have to admit their omelette and potatoes were greatly overshadowed by the French Toast. TL;DR - Excellent!
