I needed to renew my drivers license right before coming to California and was issued a temporary ID to use during the couple weeks it takes to receive the new ID in the mail. PROBLEM: Aleworks does not acknowledge official temporary drivers licenses as legitimate ID. Any form of state-issued ID should be accepted. The waitress was confused when I handed her the paper temporary license. It would be completely understandable to check for the watermark, but I was surprised to hear "we dont accept these." I asked to speak to the manager whose final point was "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone." I didnt have a problem using the ID at the airport, CaBianca, or wine tasting. It just blows my mind that Aleworks assumes temporary IDs are fakes. Probably wont go back anyway. Its the usual pub food at the usual more-than-I-want-to-pay prices. Now to end on a good note: the weekly trivia night on Wednesday is run pretty well with prizes for the top teams. Could be slightly more fast-paced but great atmosphere for socializing.

I really like this spot. A solid menu, fun brewery atmosphere, kinda cool upstairs loft area with pool table, plus TV screens everywhere for sports fans make it a good place to grab a bite and catch a game with friends. The portions are great, I really enjoy their salads (which can be hit-or-miss in places like this), and of course they have a great in-house beer menu. Tasty onion rings and kennebec fries. I want to love it, but the service can be pretty spotty (Ive had to flag down somebody after being forgotten about a couple times, especially upstairs or anywhere out of the way) which drags the whole experience down.

Solid local Brewery & Pub. It almost always loud here, inside, or out. I am not fan of anything food, or drink here, but there nothing wrong with the food, or beer. The food here is much better than Russian River over the years of occasional visits for me with friends. I do go by frequently since I am often at 3rd St Cinemas next door, or Bibis Burgers. I recommend any beer folks visit and try a flight because they have been doing a solid job with beer for many years now. Their patio is large and comfortable.

The beer was definitely the best part! I had the Blarney Sisters Dry Irish Stout, and it was delicious! Smooth and flavorful! I am a huge nitro brew fan. This place was a last minute pick as we were driving through town. I wanted to try the food, but we were not that hungry. The apps options left much to be desired. They were all a bunch of fatty, glutenous options. We went with the potato chips and a pork slider. The chips were good, but nothing special. Same with the slider. I would go back for the beer!

When its warm outside this is a good place to go to get beer and sit outside to enjoy the atmosphere. If you want beer or food, dont bother to wait for a server, you could be there for several hours before someone stops by. Take my advice and just go up to the bar to order. If its cold, go to Stout Brothers. Same price for beers and better food, plus a waiter will actually show up to your table.

Sonoma countys best. Somethings on the menu for even the vegans. The atmosphere represents Sonoma county history and style. The sports tvs are great quality. Beer by cask or tap made right there! Ambiance of outdoors spots related things even hanging bicycles and long boards. Mural along the wall above the rounded glass dining area is amazing. Music is good and the staff seem quite happy.

Love everything about this place . . .Great pub atmosphere, hearty & delicious menu items. Never had a bad meal and been eating here for 10 years. Specialty items like BBQ oysters and St. Pats fare are excellent. Service is good . . . Beers even better! Just a great place to even go and hang at the bar. Its on our favorite spot list for date night and family night both.

This is a great place to go either with family or simply your friends. The beer selection is excellent and the waitstaff and bartender were particularly friendly. I appreciate the selection and style of beers that has something that will be pleasing to everyones palate. On this visit, I tried the Winter beer Bad Santa, it was excellent. I will be back again.

Typical pub eats, good but nothing rave worrhy. Friendly staff. Great beer selection. We called ahead for a reservation and were told they didnt take reservations on Tuesdays, "I dont know why but we dont". Out of root beer "guess it got drank this weekend" Odd answers. Nothing really terrible to report, but not a place we will frequent.

To be honest, Im not a big fan of the beer-but most would say the beer is great. The food is way better than pub food and the staff, patrons and decor make this a great spot to spend some time. Also, a couple of pool tables, easy to see tvs showing popular sports, and an outdoor seating area that is shaded in the later afternoon.

A great place for the beer lover! They have a killer Tuesday Happy Hour with tasty mini plates. If you sit down to eat a meal I would definitely recommend the Sheperds Pie. AMAZING!!! Dont forget the fried egg on top! I heard that they have a new chef there and it shows in the quality and taste of their food.

This place was great! The service was attentive. We randomly showed up on Tuesday and they had $2.50 beer specials. The barbeque fries were fantastic! The Blarney Sisters was tasty. Allison, our server, was very attentive and informative. All in all Im sad I dont live closer so I can come back soon.

Great place to eat and grab a beer (or 16 if you want to try everything they got)! WAAAAAY better alternative than waiting 90min+ minute for the IPA festival that is Russian River Brewery. Great deals on beer at this place and TONS of options! We always stop here when driving through Santa Rosa!

Great food and excellent service. Our waiter took our orders by memory alone and everything came just as we wanted. Thats quite a talent when you consider we had around 12 people at our table each with an array of sides and drinks that we ordered.

Our server Jordan was great. The food was awesome. I had the curry salmon tacos and my husband had a burger with the bbq fries. The fries were so good we ordered a second batch. The only reason I didnt give five stars is the beer is only so-so.
