Curtis is a tool, but he hires very nice employees! One of them is my best friend now. I highly recommend only coming in the early morning. The rest of the day the place is filled, every day with very needy desperate people who hang out there all day long. Curtis keeps the bathroom broken so that those needy people are forced to use the bathrooms at the laundromat; which places a very heavy burden on the already overworked, and helper of the homeless Scotty. His bathroom gets constantly trashed, and hes paying Curtis fee on all the excess water that his bathroom uses now, and all the toilet paper that hes going through now, all because Curtis is a cheap p----. And Curtis employees are paying the price as well - theyve gotta leave the store to take a piss. Wake up Curtis, and stop being so selfish and greedy!

Honestly, the only thing good about this place is the location. Everything else is stale or from a discount bakery. The muffins and bagels are hard, the coffee has no depth, the tea has no flavor, and the place feels like a locker-room that has not been cleaned in 3 months. Ill go the extra mile to Peets where the coffee and tea taste really really good and the service is pleasant.

Great place, great coffee...I go because of Cody, the coffeehouse dog, a big old loveable hunk of love..... He wasnt there this morning, they said a customer complained about Cody....I left crying without my Latte, I was so upset BRING CODY BACK!!! He means so much to so many.... That one customer can find another coffee place. We protest.

We love this place! not only is it the best coffee in town. Their house coffee is more like and Americano and is wonderful. They are friendly and they have a huge toy box full of toys to entertain the kiddos. An absolute gem!

Good coffee, good service. The owner allows dogs and is usually seen hanging around barefoot, if seen at all. Decent seating inside and out. Not my "favorite" coffee in the area, but they do the trick just the same.

The locals milled around from joggers to passersby to those who were obviously bored at home. Okay coffee. Loads of bites/snacks to go with the tea or coffee. Also some merchandise on the side. Crowded

Best coffee place in Santa Cruz, in my opinion. Very good coffee, yummy bagels and pastries, and very nice and awesome staff. Would highly recommend. Plus, nice atmosphere inside!
