Disappointing. My friend and I were really keen on trying this place for dinner - hidden gem of the South Bay, etc. Ive been here once a long time ago for a business conference, and I seem to remember the food, even though mass produced for the lunch time buffet, being better. The evening started ok, but the food was not the level I expected. We got an amuse bouche of an apple mousse with roe. The flavor was off - it did not taste fresh and cool, it was room temperature and almost overly thick and salty. The highlight of the evening was actually the mushroom risotto that we had for an appetizer. Creamy and savory. My pork loin was the biggest disappointment. The meat was incredibly tough and dry. I ate 2 bites, and gave one bite to my friend, and didnt eat the rest. The cabbage was overly tangy. The best part was probably the chopped apples on top of the loin. My friends beef cheeks was okay, definitely better than my dish. Finally, for dessert, we had the honey pear. The pear and sorbet tasted delicious together, but the salty, dry and hard cheese that was part of the dish was overpowering. At the very end of the meal when we got the check, we got a couple lemon jellies. Very very sour. My mouth wouldnt stop puckering. The kicker? We got overcharged on our bill - some random dish called lettuce was added to our bill. $12. Probably one of their salads but we didnt order it. When I asked the waitress about the bill, instead of saying, Im sorry well take it off right away, she said let me check. Check what? We didnt eat it, we didnt order it, I think the customer is right... Disappointed.

The menu changes almost on a monthly basis so the chef can use ingredients that are in season. Their food is absolutely outstanding - for me it is certainly one of the most underrated restaurants in the Bay Area. The way how they blend together vegetables and light seasoning creates explosions of different tastes in your mouth. The menu usually only has a couple of dishes to choose from but whats on their is perfect. Im normally not into soups but their soups are a real highlight. Service and atmosphere are classy, on point and elegant. Totally in love with this fine restaurant.

Parcel 104 is a wonderful restaurant in a completely unexpected place - the Santa Clara Marriott, near Great America. They specialize in farm-to-table food - its particularly worth catching a Friday Farmers Market dinner. Menu changes seasonally, so its hard to recommend anything in particular, although Ive had stellar steak and pork belly. Dessert is a must. Good CA wine list. They also have some odd hours, as in no Saturday or Sunday service.

Ive been to this restaurant a dozen times, both for lunch and dinner. The food is fantastic! Chef Seragio really knows his craft. He uses organic, seasonal ingredients in all his cooking. Ill be honest that sometimes service has average. But thats because the restaurant got too busy with people. If you are visiting Silicon Valley or looking for an nice meal in the South Bay, Parcel 104 wont disappont you.

Delicious local food with a laid back comfortable atmosphere. Service was great last year and a little below par this year. A bit slow and the waiter wasnt very friendly. The hostesses were very friendly though. Had a sangria, the potato morel terrine, and lamb and ribeye entrees. Overall: delicious food but a bit pricey. Feels like they are banking on the business folk paying with company money.

Totally recommend this AMAZING place; Ive tried two dishes -- steak and salmon -- and both are fabulous! For desert, I tried the "chocolate"; very small portion, but definitely tasty. Its a pricey restaurant, but Ill definitely go back on a regular basis as the food was very unique and delicious. Make sure to ask for parking validation.

The dining experience here is fine, and the prices reflect this. Be sure to note that the restaurant appears to be inside the Marriott Hotel, but actually has a public entrance as well. Many conventions use this venue due the Marriotts facilities, so be sure to check whether they are available during weeknights.

Let me start off by saying tgat weve been here multiple times.if youre coming for a quiet night, this is not the place for you. But if youre looking for a real good meal at a very good price, then this is the spot for you.Tacky yes,but its part of the family atmosphere you get as soon as you walk in....

Ive been having business meetings here for breakfast over the past 3 years. Generally excellent service and the food is good. My experience with lunch here hasnt always been the best but I highly recommend it for breakfast, especially if youre searching for a good location in which to conduct business

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and excellent service. I like all types of fish dishes so I ordered the Marlin...whatever. It was awful. Undercooked. Tasted bad. I ate the veggies with it but left the fish. It was not cooked at all and the quality of fish was poor. It tasted stale.

very nice interior, & service to match. The personal attention is flattering. however despite a phenomenal presentation, my palate was hardly impressed with my mahi mahi fish entree atop a Mexican style corn salad... the fish itself tasted of nothing. I expected to have a bit of flavoring.

I had one of the best dishes of my life here at Parcel 104 (the prawns with some amazing spicy sauce). The service was excellent, the wine list was long and interesting, and there were several great beers on tap. A bit pricey, but overall a really great place to go for a special evening.

Im not crazy about the paint combination on the outside. It kinda looks like a McDonalds. Service was up to standards, excellent, friendly and prompt. Quality of food, great as always. The bathrooms need a little tlc. They look old and run down not what I would expect from the company.

Love this place! Even the hot dogs in happy hour are super yummy! Its a little bit on the pricey side but client lunches/dinners here always seem to impress. I love the carrot cake here too! Its just the right amount of sweet. Now I cant stop thinking about my next trip back here.

From what I remember (antellope medallions), the food was awesome. Its a corporate clientele though. Big booths. Dare I say grim? Happy hour is insanely cheap, get obnoxiously drunk there in the middle of the day for less than $5.

Too much dressing in the salad, the cassoulet was just white beans with some vegetables thrown into it, the bread I can buy at Costco, all for a bay area price. Your average disappointing hotel restaurant
