This is a high quality place and you get high quality service with a smile. You get what you pay for here, so you can expect a good assortment of choices and you dont have to wait a long time to replenish your drink cause they ask frequently enough that your coffee/soda will be full. The only negative which to some might be bothersome is the noise level is high, but its to be expected of a place that is hugely popular. I will be a regular to this establishment because it has always been a good visit every time i drop by whether for an adult drink or good food. This place is a must if you have guests who want to eat out.

I usually come here for breakfast because its close to home. The menu is very "traditional" (its a small, basic menu), and the food is alright but not amazing. Its just a very middle ground restaurant. If youre looking for waffles or french toast, then I will say those are great here. (this is my french toast and sausage spot!) However, if youre a food pig like me and want heavily seasoned scrambles, cheesy breakfast sandwiches, killer benedicts, and southwest-style foods, then this probably wont do it for you.

I give it 4 stars because when the food is good it is real good. But depending on the day you can get what seems like leftover microwaved food So unlike the old country inn the food, especially the specials are inconsistent and things like open faced turkey are just sliced packaged turkey. The place is nice. Plenty of seating and the people are nice as well. I think they try too hard to be upscale though.

The prices here are really good for the portions they serve. I had the specailty inn skillet. It comes with a variety of meats, scrambled eggs, country potatoes, and is topped with shreeded parmesan cheese. It also comes with a side of either pancakes or french toast. The meats added favlor to the eggs, and the potatoes helped balance out the meats. The pancakes were good, but nothing out standing.

Always the best service, they treat you like family here, food is always served well and their menu is tight, they have what you want out of diner style food but in a much more sophisticated setting, only complaint is their alcohol selection leaves something to be desired, but that can be overlooked due to great eats (including breakfast for dinner) done consistently.

After it was re-built/remodeled - menu changed some, portions are smaller, prices are higher. Your average pensioner (not that they read those reviews, and yet) can not afford his/her Sunday brunch anymore, previous location was a magnet for the older local crowd. Food was mediocre on two occasions, bench seats are uncomfortable and its too dark and gloomy.

For being crowded on a Saturday lunchtime, the wait was only 30min for a party of 3 and the restaurant was clean and air conditioning was perfect. My only complaint is the need some window shades for that summer sun glare. I needed to wear my sunglasses during my meal.

I really enjoyed my brunch here. It is a lot of food, so come hungry. We ended up having a bit of a wait, but not too bad. Only four stars because the wait staff was not always pleasant, but our waiter was great and the food was good, so I would definitely go back.

Good American style breakfast. We went there on Sunday at 11 and waited for about 15 mins. I ordered Chicken fried steak and it was pretty good. Waiter kept coming to make sure I have enough coffee. I will come back next time to try their sunrise cocktails.

Must see in Santa Clara. Wonderful rebirth of infamous Jack Holder Family Restaurants. Some will drive by Mission to go to Dennys - dont make that mistake. (Price points are similar - ambiance is 16 points north of the other family restaurant.)

For what it is, its pretty good. Nice folks. Average menu, nothing really fancy. All the soups are pretty good! Truck-driver sized omelettes. They have a liquor license too, and make better than average cocktails. The Bloody Mary is not bad!

Delicious lobster bisque, crab sandwich very good, outstanding eggs benedict. Prices are reasonable, large portions and staff always friendly and quick. Too much vinegar on salads. Parking can be a challenge. Crowded on weekends cause its good.

Very busy on a Sunday. Theres usually a wait. They serve breakfast all day so if youre looking for a brunch place. This is the place to be. They serve big portions. I ordered the meat lovers scramble. It was tasty. Pancakes were great too!

Holders Mission City Grill has really great comfort food and contemporary dishes as well. The service is top notch like all Holders locations. The restaurant is clean and has an open floor plan that invites you in.

We went on a Sunday at 11. Had to wait for half an hour to get a table. It is a little expensive for a diner but the portion size is huge. The place is done up really well. The staff is also friendly and sweet.

Super nice and clean restaurant thats cozy and proved relatively well. Parking gets a bit busy. I loved the crab and avocado eggs benny that everyone recommend. Cofee is great too :) and they have wifi.

Solid diner food and service all around. Crab cake benedict, chicken fried steak, blueberry pancakes, and steak and avocado sandwich are all excellent, and the mozzarella sticks are a guilty pleasure.

Great service, delicious pancakes, good coffee and a humorous staff all make it worth 5 stars! We had guests in town and both of them were really impresses with the bacon & avocado souffle omelette.

I remember when this place was the Country Inn & had the best breakfast in Santa Clara. Happy to see it back! Food is still good & service is awesome. It can get pretty busy but its worth the wait.

Good healthy portions of food. The short rib sandwich that I ordered was cooked well but the sauce was way too sweet. The venue itself is spacious and nice with good servoce.

I really like the omelets here especially the meaty one with the Spanish sauce. Service has always been good but be prepared for a wait if you get there after 9am on a weekend.

The inside was nicer than we expected from the outside and strip mall location. The food was also better than expected. We both had soup and sandwiches which were all great

Crab and Avacado Eggs Benedict is a great idea, but the hollandaise sauce lacks flavor and the eggs were overcooked the second time around. This is a good breakfast place.

The South of the border omlett is the best omlett I ever had. I usually replace churizo with bacon. Omletts Im general are delicious here. Benediction is not as good.
