This bakery saved my butt from a certain disappointment. I had ordered a cake from Vons on Gaffey about 4 days ago. It was to be ready today and I got a pretty basic design. I was all excited bc it is for my hubby, and his SURPRISE bday party tomorrow! I recieved a call from Vons saying "we are really sorry but our cake decorator just got back from time off and your cake wont be ready until the25th! I just about cried. So I was with no cake for his party. I called Polly Ann Bakery to see if it was at all possible to get a last min half sheet, thinking I would be disappointed and still without a cake. They said it was no problem and they will have it ready for the party! What a relief and I will always get all of my baked goods here from this moment on. Thanks so much!!!!

I have ordered many cakes from Polly Ann Bakery including my wedding cake but my recent experience will be my last. We ordered a birthday cake for our daughter. Gave them a picture of what we wanted (which they stapled to their copy of our order form) but when we picked up the cake, the only thing they got right was the flavor and filling. No character picture and no colored icing. They sort of "slapped" a picture of the character we wanted on the cake but it did not look good. No offer to discount the price and no remorse. To be fair, the cake tasted very good but I will not be ordering any more cakes from Polly Ann Bakery.

Absolutely the best cakes! We had them do our wedding cake back Im 2012 and this is now the only place I will order cakes from! Every birthday, every special occasion! They did amazing work and I usually get 2 tiered cakes for our parties as we have big parties with a lot of guests. And now that we have a new baby, all the birthday cakes will be coming from here include the cake Im going to be ordering today for my daughters Christening.

I ordered a cake from Polly Anne Bakery for my daughters 3rd birthday party OVER THE PHONE! I called and told them exactly what I wanted they did a perfect job! When I went to pick it up her name was misspelled and after promptly apologizing, the person helping me quickly returned after perfectly correcting the spelling. Everyone at the party loved the cake and asked where I got it from. AND it was delicious!

Just picked up a dozen random pastries for my morning crew... Everything was fantastic! However, when going to pay I spotted some baklava and grabbed a couple pieces, absolute perfection! Layers were sticky with honey but still separate and flaky, the pistachio filling was ground to the perfect consistency. Not too sweet and not too dry. Textbook.

This bakery is the best for cakes/cookies in the southbay. There strawberry banana cake with whipped cream is DELICIOUS. Fresh ingredients, cake was decorated as asked, and always on time. Service is fast, courteous, helpful. Hope more customers give there happy reviews because this family owned bakery deserves it.
