They deceive customers and health inspection necessary. They do not serve freshly grilled burgers. On the large pan next to their grill, they have pre-cooked burger patties nicely stacked on the backside. When ordering a Double Char, a 2 patty burger, only one is freshly cooked (youll get a fresh one if youre lucky). They neatly stack one freshly grilled patty and a second, dry-burnt-on-one-side-like-jerky-chewy-hockey-puck. I live right across the street in this neighborhood, and Ive suspected it for a long time and finally confirmed it tonight. Tonight, I ordered a Double Char w/ single cheese. (2 slices of cheese over powers the taste of the burger, and I cant digest it). Mistakenly, they put 2 slices - one on each patty. When I pointed this out they took one of the patties with the melted cheese infused all over it, the cook began scraping off the cheese...impossible without scraping off a layer of the thin beef patty. Health inspection necessary. They cook frozen beef patties for only 3~4 minutes. I asked for my money back and they said theyll cook a fresh patty, but itll take 3~4 minutes. ***This is BAD sign when they cook their frozen beef for only 3 or 4 minutes*** Plus, my burger that they were trying to FIX will have been sitting there yet another 5 min getting even more soggy and cold waiting for that second patty. Instead, they grabbed yet another hockey puck from a pile of pre-cooked burger patty and said now you dont have to wait. WTF !!! I wasted time waiting for what was supposed to be a quick burger run along with other food sitting in the car cooling off. If you choose to go here, ask for freshly grilled burgers and not burnt hockey puck. Charred red meat causes cancer. Be careful.

We were met with fast, friendly service. The cashier was knowledgable and seemed to know the menu. The table needed to be cleaned, so I wiped it myself. No biggie. My Grilled Ahi Sandwich, the only reason I come to The Habit, has steadily gone down hill. The pieces are getting smaller and doesnt quite fill the bun. Towards the end, its more like a veggie sandwich. The peppers were plentiful. The soda dispenser worked properly. Trash receptacles were full & in need of being emptied. The staff continuously changes. Without the coupons, I will not be back for a while. Too bad, I really enjoyed that sandwich.

Since I moved to the bay area, I have been with out some of my favorite places. Rustys pizza, and Habit. Well, now Habit is here. One coming even closer to me soon in Sunnyvale. I got the BBQ, Bacon charburger with Onion Rings. My friend and I was thinking maybe the patties were a bit different, but it tasted great still. Onion rings were spot on as well. I got my son the Chicken nuggets kids meal with apple slices. He also enjoy stealing my onion rings! ;) Overall, it was a really good experience. There is a parking garage right near as well. Next time, I might have to try the sweet potato fries

I go there and I order sit-down I get my order and Im eating and it two guys walk in with a dog and keep in mind that Im in a store environment its a restaurant and the dog goes to the table next to me starts sniffing on the peoples table then the dog comes over to me and starts nosing around like are you kidding me are these people retarded so I get up and move its ridiculous I go there to eat in peace and not be disturbed by someones dog and their fleas are you kidding me...

Almost always top quality food and friendly staff. Need to work on making sure the trash bins dont overflow as they regularly do. Its understanding somewhat considering how busy they are, however this place is ALWAYS busy - so they need to set a timer for every 45 min. to have an employee check them. 3/4 full? Empty it. Protip: call your order in before you leave to go there. When you arrive it will be waiting and you can skip the line while still getting fresh food - but check EVERYTHING, as Ive found "to-go" orders raised the propensity for errors.

SO impressed by this place. I was in town with my boyfriend and wanted an easy dinner while he was working. I read great reviews and decided to go for Habit Burger. When I walked in Alejandro greeted me like we were old friends and even offered me a free drink. He seemed genuinely excited to serve and was more than accommodating. I got the veggie burger and it was better than most veggie burgers I get at nice restaurants. I will definitely visit when were in the area again!

Lets be honest. In-N-Out Burger has a hard time comparing with Habit Burger Grill in nearly every respect. As soon as you walk in, Habits char-grilled smells confirm youve indeed made the right choice for your appetite. On your first visit, go with the standard Charburger. A bite into their classic---sensing the crisp char of the patty---beckons your tastebuds to an older American era. The experience is furthered by a demeanor of the eager politeness by the staff.

Habit burger is my go to if its an available option. This place is just an example of why. Food order taking correctly, all drinks available, food was bag with the correct food, and most of all it all tasted GREAT. The seating area was clean and trash was taken out. The downside for this location is parking. They do have a parking garage. This is the not the best for ADA folks. My partner is able to walk brief distances and made this fine.

With so many good burger joints around, I had low expectations and a short window for lunch, so I went to the new Habit Burger just minutes from my home. I was happily surprised at the quality and flavor of the burger, really delicious. Yes, better than In-N-Out or Jeffreys even! And the Chocolate Shake was great too. Sweet Potato fries and I still got out for $10, cha-ching!

Good location, I go to the Whole Foods in the same strip mall, somewhat regularly. The Habit is pretty decent. Ive had some of their salads previously. Most recently, I ordered a double char burger. It seemed like a pretty healthy burger, not too much fat dripping off of it. While I enjoy in n out more and more regularly, the Habit seems like a less guilty pleasure to enjoy.

Theres only one burger that tops In-n-Outs burger and that is The Habits veggie burger. I know. Veggie > meat? Yes. I assure you that its not like some of the stigmatized black bean veggie patties that have a mushy feeling. The Habits has a nice texture and wonderful flavor, which could be attributed to the mushroom, flakes of carrots, and among other ingredients.

Busy during weekday lunch hour. But just after 2pm, the crowd dwindles off. Ordered the double patty CharBurger meal. No regrets. Juicy and succulent beef patties. Fries were large and firm with crispy outsides. Wished they could provide mayonnaise at their condiment stand (but perhaps they have little packets if I had asked; I didnt ask). USD10 for 1 pax.

Fresh ingredients make a great burger, and it is consistently good here. Fried green beans were crispy on the outside but still juicy in the inside - perfect! You could get a grilled tuna or chicken on salad if youre not in the mood for a burger. Staff has changed a few times over the past few years, but this one is as good as when Habit first opened here.
