My family and I were traveling from Sacramento to San Jose (our hometown) for my uncles funeral and we decided to eat here for lunch. The line was out the door and took about 10-15 minutes before we got to the cash register. I placed my order (clam chowder in a bread bowl) and my family placed theirs afterwards. I then spent the next 20 minutes watching as the entire line behind me got their food. When they called # 250 and I was # 219 I decided to go up and see what the delay was. I asked the lady at the pickup area is she could see how much longer it was gonna be and she asked for my #. I gave it to her and she proceeded to tell me that they didnt have an order # 219. So, I handed her my receipt, she looks at it then looks at me and says "yeah, we dont have this". In which I replied that she read my receipt and obviously it existed at one point. After about 2 minutes and having to get approval from the person who rang me up, the lady said "I guess Ill get it for you anyways". I just couldnt believe how terrible the customer service was.

Cute cafe with tasty baked goods and an awesome lunch selection of soups, salads, and sandwiches. If I am picking up an order, I always call it in ahead of time. My family usually grabs sandwiches from here before a road trip or hike. I think they have a bread rewards card. I like their Caesar salad and the Mozarella Caprese sandwich; however, not a fan of the tuna sandwich. Recommend for breakfast/lunch/snack but not a great dinner place. Workers are friendly and sometimes Costco sells discount cards for Le Bou!

The place its so nasty and gross eww I went there first time i bring my family OMG!! First thing i saw when i was filling up my drink i saw this girl in a red shirt curly hair scratching her head then rubing her nose wow! The was horrible Time i see in my life then i ask this skinny latin old man the girl name he told me it was mercedes and she its assistant MGR. Wowww !!! No way i will never eat there again thats grossly nasty sorry who ever its the owner need to see hes restaurant more often bye

I frequently here. I think the bread is the best in the neighborhood. The service is always courteous, the sandwiches are to my liking, fresh and tasteful, a bit too much for me, I need to share it with someone else. The only thing I dont like is the potato chips that comes with the sandwich; however, its not healthy stuff anyway, so if I dont like it, I dont eat it, less calories... perfect.

Very sad that this location is now closed. I regularly bought bread here. Its delicious and my family prefers 9 grain for sandwiches. A favorite treat is the cinnamon raisin bread toasted. This Boulanger was conveniently located near a Peets coffee and tons of other shops in the Paseo de Saratoga.

The restaurant was very dirty. The sandwiches were small and had no flavor. The side of coleslaw was horrible and was in a very small cup. Not worth the money...
