I had my graduation party in their resturant on July 11th 2015. Before the day of my event I, including my father, mother, and sister, sat down with Edward (the owner) to go over the details as well as to pay. He gave us the the prices for the room and said that we would need to give a $200 deposit which we would get back after the event, provided no damage was done to the establishment and/or its property... and of course this is normal. Our total came to $1650. He also told us that we would be able to see the complete set up (decorations) the Thursday before my event which was on a Saturday. We agreed to everything and paid in full that same day. Of course I was very excited and thought the small space was perfect for my small event. The Thursday before my event I went to the resturant and found that the space had not even begun the decorating process and that it wouldnt be done until Saturday...it surprised me because we needed time to set up musical equipment and to make sure our systems were compatible with theirs. I had to agree to the change. On Saturday the space was decorated accordingly but an hour into our event we will unable get the WiFi to even work. The staff had issues helping us connect. Eventually everything worked and the night went smoother. The real problem happened after my event. In early August, I called the resturant and spoke to a lady(I think Edwards wife or relative) and asked about our deposit and I was told that she would have to talk to Edward and would get back with me. A week later nothing, so I called back and and this time spoke with Edward, he told me he would speak with the lady and give me a call later. Still nothing. So I continued calling and asking but kept getting the run around. Last Friday, August 28 , I spoke to Edward. He told me he would call his bank and get a check together and call me at 9am monday of the next week. He said that he wouldnt be able to give me a check because the bank had already closed. Ive worked at banks for a long time and I know a business does not need to contact the bank to issue/write a check. Anyways, Monday August 31st arrived and still no call from him, so on Tuesday I called him back and he said it would take the bank between 2-3 days to get the check. What?!? So I told him that I would need it by Thursday August 3rd if that was the case. Still no word from him on Thursday. I called on Friday and he finally tells me what supposedly "happened". He told me that my $200 deposit went to the waitstaff. There was only one staff member working during my party, however, we were never told that our deposit would go to the waitstaff. We were told that we would get our deposit back if there were no damages. There were/are no damages that we are aware of. If this were TRUE, how come Edward kept insisting that I would be getting my check soon? Shouldnt he have told me from the start that my deposit was given to the waitstaff? However, he acted like he was trying to get things together so that I could be reimbursed. For a month and a half after my event ,Edward never planned on returning the $200 deposit that we had agreed on. If you claim to run an honest business , you cannot treat people like this! I Called over the course of four weeks more than seven times to get this issue resolved. This is absolutely the most unprofessional, dishonest way of handeling an issue by an establishment that I have had the displeasure of doing business with. I cannot believe that a business owner could have the audacity to, essentially, steal from his customer. Anyone wanting do business with them please be careful and proceed with caution. But honestly even with everything positive added I stilll wouldnt advice anyone to go to them. Their are better establishments that and profesional and trustworth that will make sure all of your needs are met for your event. Good luck to you all! Side note: I did not use their food for my event because I didnt see good reviews over it.

We had our wedding reception here. It was an amazing night. The family-run Drying Shed restaurant made our special night go off without a hitch. They made us feel like we were part of their family. Every detail was executed exactly how I had imagined it would be for the big night! Our party was a night to remember and ended with our bridal party singing karaoke in the bar with the Friday night DJ. Highly recommend this venue for your wedding reception.

We had a Christmas dinner here. There was mold on the cake they served us, so they had to take all of the cake back (after several of us had already eaten some) and get cake with no mold. The food was inexpensive, but not very good. I would not recommend this place unless you are on a very tight budget for your event.

Dont like fast food.... But do a good deed & feel good. Take the money youd spend here buy a homeless family fast food & yourself. Youve done something for mankind , eaten better than the food @ this dump & no one gets hurt! This restaurant needs to close! it gets 1 star because the toilet flushes.

I love the variety of food- shrimp cocktail, potato salad, fruits, carving station, desserts-and all delicious! My only complaint would be the fact that its posted that they are open for brunch @ 9:30 but dont have the hot food out till 10. Wish they told me that when I made reservations for 9:30.

The Brunch is fabulous, excellent service clean. I highly recommend, i cant figure out the sour lemon ratings that others have posted!!, EXCELLENT value! I also sometimes come for lunch, quiet, not noisy like some places... French Dip and burgers are GREAT!!

Always the classy stop with cozy atmosphere that keeps our family coming back. Thats before you dive into the menu. Then you are hooked, and looking for an excuse try brunch then next morning. Thanks for the great food and open arms welcome every visit.

I havent tried their dinner menu, but their prices for a top-shelf martini and manhattan were quite reasonable and the drinks were well-made. On the other hand, the interior design is quite dated overall and rather run down in spots.

This restaurant has been here for years. Prime rib on Tuesdays is always good. But, be patient when you enter... This place is run rather lean.
