Glancing out the gigantic glass window I see a cable car pass behind me, my back is to the window and I can see a tiled bar and open hole leading to the kitchen. Elegant glass shelves house liquor and glasses. There is beer on tap and industrial lamp lights dimly lighting the bar top. Jack Johnson music plays and fills the terminus walls. Did you know...according to a local customer of this establishment, "Terminus is the epitome of this place and is the literal end of the night. Early to rise and late to bed. No matter when you come youll get the best bartenders that are helpful and friendly. Its exciting to watch them perform their craft. In the early hours, people who work in the area, while waiting for the BART around 4:30-7am, will avoid the lines and stop in for a cocktail. During the second flux, the "getting off" crowd is usually the workers in the area having their relaxation time with those who understand what their day was like without having to talk about it."

The decor looked cool and I am sure that I would have enjoyed their wares if I had sampled them. But I found the service abysmal. It was hard to discern any semblance of logic in the prancing of the bar tender. He was uncommunicative, inefficient and incompetent. Hope you have a better experience here.

Stopped in for lunch - small, hand-crafted menu. The bean stew was excellent. Functions solely as a bar after lunch hours - looks like they stock a decent selection.
