the only reason why i am giving them a rating of 2 is because of the super super slow service every time we (with co-workers or family) go there. food has always been really good. we even had them for a few of our catering events at work and service was great. Claudia (no longer works there though) and David always made sure our orders were ready for pick-up at the time requested. but lunch is a different story... always slow... today our group of 5 got there before 12nn and we waited for over an hour to get our food. at least 15-20 minutes wait for the server to even acknowledge us, bring the beverages and bread and took our orders. the calamari dish (not on the menu but can request it) is super tender and super yummy. price reasonable for the value of the food.

The menu that is posted on the website is not the same as the menu at this particular restaurant. At home, we decided what we would have. My husband chose a clam dish and I was going to go for a chicken salad. Neither of us could get what we wanted but we stayed anyway. No greens, iceberg lettuce salad with raisins???. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce but the cooks got it wrong and I was served the meatless sauce instead. Pizza was okay. One waitress but she did a good job handling it all. I ended up with a no protein meal - wont go back.

For the last 3 decades, Its been a tradition in my family to come here for birthdays. For the last 2 decades we have come for our anniversary and shared a Brownie Sundae. Sometimes the meal is slightly off, but usually its wonderful. I always get the salad. Hubby loves the soup. Our schedule now means we cant go as often as we want because they close at 9, not 10.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. . I CALLED IN MY ODER AT 1:20 PM. . WHEN I ARRIVED AT 1:55 .. THEY HAD NOT EVEN STARTED MY ORDER .. MY ORDER WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE IN 15 MINS. MANAGE WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND TOLD ME HE FORGOT TO START MY ORDER AFTER GETTING OFF THE PHONE WITH ME.

Nice little local Italian, friendly staff, free bottomless salad and soup with an entree. I had the penne with the mildly indian spiced sauce, nice and different. Not much beer on offer, but the Laguanista that they had was excellent.

The staff is friendly, and the food is terrific. Been back several times and have had good service and Seafood Alfredo with angel hair pasta.. absolutely delicious. I recommend Strings to anyone and everyone!

Food is mediocre at best. Shrimp scampi was over cooked. Salad was tasteless iceberg. Ravioli and sauces tasted packaged and not fresh. Same with the bread, nothing tastes fresh or hand made.

Tastes fine considering what it is. Also get there early. They start to close down about half an hour before the posted closing time and stop serving.

My absolute favorite place to eat. I love the shrimp fettucini alfredo. Yum!! Little pricey, but worth it on the occasional date nite with my husband.
