Great soups! I mean, who would think that a coffee shop would sell soup so good. I honestly like them all. But I must highlight the Curried Lentil, Chicken Artichoke Florentine, and Cream of Asparagus (who would have thought a soup sounding like that could be so good?). The best thing about it is that it is only about $3.57 for a large. It fills you up pretty good without being so heavy (especially if you get the bread and butter). I highly recommend this place. I honestly am not a big fan of the coffee (but I may be biased because I do not like strong coffee...I am more of the sweet coffee type of girl), but their tea and smoothies are AMAZING, Atmosphere is nice...what more can I say? Go check them out.

Walked in to get a coffee and scone. I stood in line in front of their pastry case waiting for my turn to order. My turn came and the girl that was taking the previous customers order went on to do something else. Kind of thought that was rude. I stood there waiting for the other girl to finish at the cash register thinking she would come over to the pastry case to take my order. She stood there looking at me and finally said, can I help you. Really! I said, I will take my business elsewhere!

I love the idea of decomposition - experience each element of an old experience turns out to be a whole new experience. Thats what the creative crew at Chicory Coffee & Tea is offering! Highly recommend the "de-constructed latte"! The bitter, strong and bold coffee shot versus the creamy, sweet and dense milk. The latte magic happens when we combine things that so far different! Its the aromy, smooth, creamy and nutty/chocolaty latte! Love the vibe--enthusiastic crew!

Went today because web site said they had good vegetarian chilli. We arrived at 1:15 and they had only clam chowder and no vegetarian soup options (Said they had various types earlier, but they had sold out all their vegetarian soups, apparently in just 2 hours, but theyre open till 5)

Been here a few times for coffee, chai lattes and biscotti. Each visit I encountered a warm, friendly welcome from their baristas, quick service and excellent food and beverages. Great view of the Capitol from inside too.

Super fun concept, friendly staff, free wifi, and interesting drinks. How can things get better?! I got a peanut butter latte. AMAZINGNESS. If I was local, Id be here all the time.

Fine coffee, baked goods and preprepared lunch items. Step up from Starbucks. Nice seating area. Near the capitol...might see your assemblyman taking a break there.
