I was there at 7:50 p.m. On Wednesday evening. I stand waited for 5 minutes, finally a waitress showed up and led me to a dirty table. I picked up the menu and start reading standing next to it. But nobody come over to clean the table. After another 5 minutes, another waitress came out of nowhere and asked me if Im going to leave. I asked her if she can clean the table so I can sit down and order something. She asked me if I want to have ice water or tea. I said Tea. She disappeared another 10 minutes never bought over the tea. She showed up again, and said hi what do you want? I said Im waiting for the hot tea and Im ready to order. Theyre only roughly one-third of the tables were occupied not sure how come they cannot take care the restaurant. Should I stay, or should I leave? The food smell pretty good and a nice bowl of hot soup warm me up especially in the cold winter night.

This restaurant is off the beaten path on Fullerton Rd. Its located in the residential area in a super small plaza, but parking is plenty. My family came on a Saturday back in October. The place was full when we walked in. We ordered a bunch of different things, but my favorite was the stir fry thin rice noodles with lots of veggies. It tasted very much like home cooking, something my aunt would cook in her kitchen. The stir fry octopus was also tasty, NOT artificial or drenched in sauce. The other dishes were good too, but nothing too memorable. However, everything paired really well with plain white rice. Restrooms were clean, ambiance inside was ok, service was slow, but I didnt mind. From what others have said, just dont be in a hurry. Prices were really fair, dare I say cheap?! Perhaps thats why theres a lack of staff members. I would definitely come back again with my family.

Service = 2-3 stars Food = 4 stars Value = 4-5 stars Lets say this averages to about 3.5 stars. The service definitely could be improved upon. Theyre not the fastest establishment. Sometimes asking for someone such as another spoon may take 5 minutes or more. But the food is really good. The popcorn chicken or Taiwanese fish fillet are my favorites. The oyster pancakes are very tasty. Oh yeah, they have no high chairs, so bring your own

If you are hungry, dont come here. Snail pace service. Food is not bad when they come around and put it on the table. The red couch by the front door belongs to the dump. DO NOT try to sit down, or you will sink so deep that you need the fire department to hoist you back up.

This is the place I go to when I need Taiwanese comfort food. Most of the food is great. I also like their lunch special. The portion has always been very generous. The only complaint about the lunch special is theres only 1 dish per day so you either get it or not.

Service was really good, the waitress were nice and helpful. Food though, was average at most. We had the Heinan Chicken rice, spinach, and Sesame Chicken Soup. A good neighborhood lunch spot, but its not worth a 30min drive
