I read the reviews before I came here and was shocked how good they were. I had driven past this place for years and chalked it up to just another dive bar so I never entered. I heard about the "older" crowd and decor and shied away. My mistake. Let me tell you what, Ive been doing karaoke for more than 20 years both as a vocalist and a KJ and bartender and I have seen it ALL in the way of bar scenes. This place is a rock-solid neighborhood bar. I cant call it a dive because although the interior is a bit dated, its ALWAYS clean. Yes, they dont have top shelf for most alcoholic options but they do have great prices for good beer and booze options, better than youd expect food (The BBQ Burger is SERIOUS), Top Notch service (Gina is a bar maid Queen - never a dry glass, always thinking ahead and a sweetheart to boot), theres a smoke room (So nice not to be banished outside!) and the vibe? FUN!!! My wife and I have been coming here for 2 months now and become regulars, I even held my birthday here and all my friends that have come out say the same thing - "This place is great!!!" This is old school folks but in the best way possible. People are here to sing and dance and support those with the courage to do either. Theres no frills and no boneheads (I have not see anything negative pop off here once), the staff are cool and friendly and the place is always busy but not overcrowded. If youre looking for filet mignon, high end martinis and an overall "Millennial" experience this is not that. So to those hating - Put away your age-ism, embrace the vibe and look around this spot, these people understand how to enjoy themselves, support others and be friendly. Its how karaoke should be and Almond Tree is something to be cherished for its realness. If I want a crowded, loud mouthed, wannabe frat boy and "Im young, drunk and stupid" girl thing - Id go somewhere else trendy and lame and more divey. If you want to have a good time with real, down home folks who know how to behave and know each other by name - this is the spot for you. The karaoke is really good. Im talking good vocalists who know what they are doing and Bill is a great KJ who is fair, funny and keeps the place moving. I have to give my new neighborhood bar 5 stars!!

Well priced mixed drinks and 16 oz glass of Pabst for $2!! The food was shockingly good. I got the BBQ burger, 1/2 pound patty with plenty of bbq sauce, onion ring, cheese, and all the fixings. Honestly the best burger Ive had in awhile. My friends got the pulled pork sandwich and the nachos and they enjoyed theirs just as much as I did. Would definitely recommend. I was here around 1 pm and there was about 5 or 6 regulars who were all pretty relaxed and friendly. Staff was pleasant and attentive.

I stayed there one night until the bar closed and only the staff remained. I left my Columbia jacket on my chair and didnt realize it until I left. When I called the next day they said my jacket was not there so an employee jacked my jacket! Not cool very disappointed I will not be listening to horrible karaoke in this thieving establishment ever again!! I expected more Almond Tree and you failed me...

Best dive bar in town! Awesome staff and cool events. Trivia nights, karaoke, live music, and even goldfish racing! Great music and they even have big buck hunter. But good luck beating the high scores. Gina is a beast! The drinks are cheap and the atmosphere is awesome. Taco Tuesday is my favorite day! Meet me at the tree! Chyeah!

If you ever wanted to see how drunk really old people get down, this is the spot. Good food and great pours for the price. Bring your dentures and wheel chair and party it up. Always a drunken adventure here.

Great ribeye steak cooked it just the way we liked it and karaoke was fun. Good pour on drinks and in good fun crowd come and join the almond tree its a great place to hang out.
