Finally got the chance to experience this new 85C Bakery in the 626 area. Seems like 85Cs are starting to branch out everywhere like a wildfire. Parking: 90 minutes freeeeeeee! Youre killing me Johnnnn! So you can grab a bite at neighboring restaurants and stop by at 85C to get some pastries to eat in the location or bring home to hungry friends and family. Theyll love you for it! Location/Venue: Located on the corner of Fair Oaks Ave and Green St. You cant miss it! This is a much bigger 85C with plenty of tables and chairs! Service: Love the service at this location. There are always staffers that will help you find whatever bakery item that you cant find. The line to pay was minimal when I got here at 230pm on Saturday. Tip: Whenever you hear a staffer call out FRESH BREAD, *cue the salivation glands*it will signal you to swoop in and grab the freshest bakery item out of the oven! Food: More variety! This is the first 85C that ive gone to that has items that I havent seen at other locations: Cheese Rolls and Guava Cheese Strudel. Seems like they got this concept from Portos or Marengue bakeries! Will definitely come back to try more things at this location! :)

if u are used to the real 85 degrees dont go here theyve turned this Pasadena store into an Americanized version of it no more legit Taiwanese pastries just Taiwanese versions of American pastries and the worst part is all the reasons why I would go there now doesnt exist everything is at least 50% sweeter to accommodate the dulled American palette and its dry and not as soft as they used to be dont even get me started about the terrible service the people were very nice n helpful mgmt just didnt see fit to hire enough of them and whats up with the 2 registers that does only 1.5 things who thought that was a good idea? ps if u wanna bring yr laptop dont plan on spending a lot of time here they dont have outlets its more like snarf n get out I think Ill stick to my places Monterey park when I want proper Chinese pastries and I dont want to get diabetes

Never again will I ever come back to this place due to the poor customer service. I was so excited cause I work near this place and has always wanted to check it out but the two girls were rude. I had to ask if someone could take my order after being ignored by one girl. They did not greet any of the customers and while were fixing the other drinks, they others whom ordered drinks drink sitting up and never called their number. Finally a girl came from the back and help a little but she was just as rude. I had been waiting for almost 15 mins for a slice of cake. I finally said "I want my money back!" She gets the cake no "sorry for your wait!... " NOTHING! Really didnt expect this from a nice looking place like this...

85C is a chain of Taiwanese bakeries that sell premium pastries and cakes along with coffee and milk tea beverages. This location is located in Old Town Pasadena, so dont expect dedicated parking. Theres a shared lot across the street that covers the first 90 mins of parking. Their service is average as theyre more focused on turnover than quality. Expect wait times for drinks and lines for pastries. However, the wait is always worth it for me. My favorite is their Portuguese Egg Tart. This is always a good stop if youre looking for some dessert after dinner in Old Town, especially if youre not looking to spend too much at the restaurant.

85°C Bakery is like the Asian version of Portos Bakery. It is a self served bakery where you go around and pick your own desserts. They have a great assortments of bread and pastries with some unique flavors such as taro. But my favorite is the egg tart. I can probably eat a few of those alone. They constantly bake freshly made bread. It is amusing when they yell out "Fresh Bread" to announce it. In addition to their pastries, they also have a great assortment of drinks such as Taro Latte and Sea Salt coffee. I have yet to try these drinks. For those individual pastries, they package them in this little box for you to take.

This store is nothing short of amazing honestly this is a man or a woman can treat a lady like a lady or a man like a man the food was delicious the ham and cheese bomb the only thing I can actually complain about is at the doors to get into the building or a little bit too heavy so a lot of people that I kept watching kept thinking the doors are closed other than that everything is just amazing please please please put in 85 degrees in Monrovia theres always space available on Myrtle please for the love of God put one in Monrovia would be there every weekend

This is a pretty big 85 degree establishment on the corner of Fair Oaks and Green St. Street parking is hard to find, but its very close to paid parking lots -- the one across the street is free for the first 90 minutes. We like coming here for the pastries. Sometime we get a drink and those are good, but the pastries are always fresh and they have a lot of variety. Some of them I have no idea what they are, but you can generally find something youll like here.

What can I say about this place that hasnt been already said. Cheap Asian bread that is delicious. I suspect that they use just enough sugar to make it tasty without making it taste too sweet. I usually like the bread with the sausage inside it. Not sure what it is called. Usually very busy no matter what time you go in. They also have coffee that tastes really good, but it is too sweet for me. I believe it is called the coffee with sweet cream.

Love finally having an 85 so close. The bread is always tasty and fresh. Not a big fan of the desserts, but thats just personal taste. Drinks are yum too! Get the egg tart when its fresh and hot! And always ask when the chocolate croissant came out, if they havent been out for more than an hour or two get it! Theyre so delicious. They just arent as flaky if theyve been out too long though.

If you like sweet and savory baked goods, you will love this place. Starve yourself for a day and stop by to grab a variety of pastries. Theres also, boba, coffee and other drinks. AND some fancy delicious looking cakes. There is plenty of sitting area, so if you want to grab a drink and a pastry and people watch, this location allows for that.

This place has the best fluffy bread and desserts Ive ever tasted! I went in the late afternoon and it wasnt too busy. There is a section where you can select your own bread, and another where you have to request the dessert from behind the glass. They also have coffee and other goods plus seating. Its a great place to grab a quick bite.

Ive always been a fan here, however, with the increasing popularity, their customer service has gone way south. Ive always had excellent service here and recently everyone doesnt seem to care much about anything. Pastries are still decent. If this is your first time here, try their berrytale, egg tart, and the cheese bites. So good!
