I went there to have lunch with a former high school classmate who has never been to Eagle Rock Plaza and my intention was to show her how good the Kare-Kare and Grilled Boneless Bangus were, but the sales staff said they can not take the order so that our only choice was to eat turo-turo style. So we made our choices but I still asked to be allowed to order to go food even if I have to wait, so my orders were taken. I was told it will take at least 30 mins but I didnt mind even though I ended up waiting for an hour. I got the packed food to go and noticed how badly packed they were so I requested these to be re-done to ensure no spillage. Now at home after reheating I noticed to my dismay that the kare-kare had not a single ox tail and I could not taste any peanut sauce! What has happened to the GOLDILOCKS that many of us loved through the years? Why cant Pinoy cuisine be authentic, is the cost of food in SoCal too prohibitive for restaurants to serve authentic traditional Filipino food? Why are Pinoy restaurants in the Philippines able to provide quality Pinoy foods despite the exorbitant costs? What matters most for you in the food industry, maintaining consistent authenticity and quality or serving food as though they were failed cooking attempts? What happened to your customer service, is profit more important? What a disappointment you have become LEELIN!

Finally got to try this place after it had change from Goldilocks to LeeLin. The menu online looked amazing and from fellow friends reviews they are enjoying the new things. So as we came in to the Eagle Rock plaza location we realized it was more like a Turo Turo (pick the ready made food ) kinda of location . We were kind of expecting a sit down, heres the menu kind of location. With our confused looks the lady mentioned that they only do that in their Cerritos location. With that said she did mention that we can still order from the menu online and they will cook it . I wish they had a menu to look at, since my signal on my phone wasnt the greatest . Everything seemed pretty good since it took a while for all the food to come . Did not realize till we got home that something was missing with the bagoong fried rice. The big thing that was missing was the Lechon Kawali and as I look online on the menu it does say that it comes with it. And from the pictures I posted on here, no Lechon Kawali to be seen. Well going forward I just hope they have or know exactly what the other locations put in their dishes.

This place deserves a fabulous review. Theres a intimate atmosphere that makes the place feel all your own. And the sweets: unique spin and knock-your-socks-off-everything-youve-ever-desired flavor. To quote a friend, " it Leelin Bakery & Cafe taste like food."

This place has the best halo halo! The breakfast buffet is good but I wish the hours would be longer.
