Because a whole burger and fries wasnt enough, we went over to Scoop Microcreamery for dessert. I mean, who can resist the smell of sweet waffle cones? (I cant). I tried a few flavors, but nothing stood out to me. I ended up with a scoop of cookies and cream in a waffle cone. The cool thing about this place is that they flash freeze it with nitrogen. The not so cool thing is that you dont get to see them do it so if you dont know about it, its pretty much just regular ice cream. I was eating my ice cream and it was pretty good, but it was too soft and melted pretty quickly for a cold night. The waffle cone wasnt sweet either which I was disappointed about. Overall, the ice cream is pretty good, but theres not a huge wow aspect and its pretty pricey!

A great place for dessert easily accessible while enjoy downtown Palo Alto. Just stopped in one evening after dinner on whim and it was totally worth it. Between my wife and I, we tried 4 flavors: Biscott & cream, mint & brownie, salted caramel, and turkish coffee. All 4 flavors were really good. I settled on Biscott & cream and salted cream for my two scoops. The staff was really friendly. I saw a few people order shakes. I wonder if thats a thing here. Ill have to try it next time.

Scoop is super-decadent ice cream born from liquid nitrogen. They have some great flavors-- mine is the speculoos cookie. Their waffle cones are made in-house, and it smells so good. If I have one complaint, its that the menu doesnt change very much. They could make myriad flavors, alas they add or swap one or two flavors every 4-6 months or so. That and its just a little pricey. Still, I cant help but get a double scoop waffle cone when I stop by.

This gem, of incredible surprises of changing variety pure goodness.. freezing the ice cream with a faster method to create a consistency and richness only one other Dolce Pazio , Los Gatos. With changing flavors like Nutella/vanilla or Strawberry ( something ) Im delirious with delight. Lovely folks behind the counter gracious, accommodating ... its a bit $$ ..well worth every last lick of your spoon

Holy cripes. This is, by far, the best place to get ice cream in South Bay. Potentially bay area. Potentially world. First of all, go and try everything. Then, once you realize that the speculoos ice cream is perfect, and probably the Queen of Englands favorite dessert, order yourself a cone of it. And lastly, If youre with somebody, make sure they get their own cone. Its not worth it to share.

Delicious! The place is a little small/narrow, so you might want to avoid the busy times if you dont do well with crowds/small spaces or have a wheelchair (it is wheelchair accessible, just a tight fit). It is a little pricey ($4 for a scoop of ice cream), but the smoothest ice cream Ive had in a long time! Parking can be almost impossible, so I recommend the parking structure on 445 Bryant.

Their mint and cookies ice cream is a refreshing treat! Ate my scoop so fast that I forgot to snap a photo... I sampled their coconut flavor - will check that out next time - and committed to getting fudge on my mint cookies. Its made in-house and worth a try. (Your mileage may vary if youre not into extras, obviously.) Shout out to Vira and the rest of the staff for being so welcoming!

Friendly staff and surprisingly cheap prices, especially given the taste and quality (and location). Enjoyed 3 scoops in a waffle bowl (eggnog, plus two other light flavors, I think one was vanilla and the other vanilla/bourbon or rum or something in that region) Really really nice taste, neither the ice cream nor the waffle was too sugary; it was spot on and truly delicious :)

Amazing flavour selection (try the speculaas!) and faster service than smitten which makes everything to order and can take ages. Loved the waffle bowl too! And the smell of waffles was divine! A shame that the kids size serving (a great idea!) dont seem to come with homemade cones, unlike the bowls and larger portions. Will be back to sample more flavours.

This place has some unique interesting flavors that changes. Its a small shop, but the employees were friendly and helpful. They give free samples to try. We got the green tea with mochi. The mochi was good and chewy. I wish the green tea had a stronger tea flavor. One scoop in a cup cost $4.75.

The mint and brownie is quite good. This microcreamery distinguishes itself from others by its liquid nitrogen cooling technique. Theyve got big canisters of LN2 behind the counter, and make the ice cream on site. I think I enjoyed Tin Pots flavors better, but this is still very good.

Strawberry mascapone was a bit icy and tart; vanilla bean and mint & cookies were solid. They have a kid size option thats nice but probably too small for kids over 5 or so. Waffle bowl was tasty but uneven, crunchy in parts and soft and pliable in others.

High quality ice cream!! Very interesting flavors. I have had peanutbutter cup, brown sugar banana, and strawberry balsamic (on 3 different occasions). They were all amazing!!! The hot fudge sauce is good (nothing to die for though). Would recommend.

The line moves so fast! This is the first icecream place that starts the Sampling process way earlier. Genius. Oh and the icecream is amazing. Had the brown sugar banana and it was rich, creamy and full on fresh banana flavor. Definitely coming back.

The cardamom ice cream is honestly the best ice cream I will ever have (unfortunately Im sitting here at a sub-par creamery in North Carolina 3 years later. Im not sure if that flavor has been offered between 2014 and now)

Their ice cream and milkshakes were delicious, and the food was prepped in a timely manner. Some of their staff look like theyre in grumpy moods -and its especially noticable when you talk to them at the cashiers desk.

This is my favorite ice cream place! Whenever Im in town I try to go here. I love the nutella flavor with a chocolate dipped cone. They always give generous samples. Its a bit pricey though.

Their ice cream is made using liquid nitrogen which gives it a smooth, creamy texture. The flavors are all simple but delicious, like their speculicious of bourbon milk and caramel.

Great tasting ice cream, very dumb teenage staff. Took three attempts to get our order right... we gave up and walked out with what we didnt order to get the line going.

Lots of flavor options. Opens late - until 9pm. They got stingy with spoons for samples at 8:30pm though. That was kinda annoying. Ice cream was delicious though.

Our favorite ice cream spot around Palo Alto so far. We always get the Speculicious ice cream and its great, highly recommended. Keep in mind, its pricy though

While the ice cream is pretty good, I cant justify it for the price. Its not that good, its just pretty good. $5.25 for a small as of the time this was written.

You can already smell the house-made waffle cones, right? Theres no use resisting, might as well go in and sample their smooth (pricey) ice cream.
