Wish I could give higher rating because my friend actually liked the food, but the experience deserves closer to no star. Brunch service was slow and inconsistent even though the place was not busy when we arrived. There was a long wait for the food and when it arrived, the dishes ordered among people in my party did not arrive together but staggered by 20 mins with the last person to order receiving his food first. I was the last to receive my food despite being the first person order food while my friends debated over their drink order earlier. There was no explanation or apology or offer to bring out chips or appetizer to tie me over while watching my friends eat. And when my food finally arrived, it was the wrong order, despite me confirming it *twice*. And I waited another 10-15 mins. The manager finally brought my food but only placed it on the table, again with no word, apology or explanation. Seriously, if youre in the service business, put an effort to make your patrons of all background feel welcome and apologize if you mess up or have kitchen difficulties. Just own up to it. We tend to understand if you are sincere and treat everyone with the same respect. The indifference was not acceptable. My brunch unfortunately was also dry and overcooked. Super sad!!! This was not a good experience and I did not feel welcome.

The staff here greets you as soon as you walk in very helpful with beer selection even offering samples to find what you like and it dosent stop there they are also very helpful with food selection as well I was hesitant about the place at first but boy was I glad I stop and Yes I will return with lots of people to enjoy this place keep up the good work and keeping Oakland proud to have a place like this great job to all staff almost forgot lots of tv for your entertainment and music as well

I love the chicken parm sandwich. Great beer selection. Im an east coast native and an Italian-American, so kind of a pizza snob. IMO this pizza is mediocre and hard to justify for the price. It can also be pretty loud and echoey in the restaurant. I prefer to take out unless its dead in there. All in all its worth trying. I keep going back (for the chicken parm).

I love this place! Food is great! Its officially my favorite pizza-specifically the Margherita pizza. Ive had several items now and theyve all had original and delicious flavors. It is a bit pricey like its sister restaurant Portal, but unfortunately, thats gentrification for ya.

The pizza is not bad, but it doesnt stack up against some other high end pizza Ive had at the same price. Ive also have seen some quality control issues. I eat here because its the best pizza in the neighborhood.

Great brunch place and addition to the neighborhood. We go every weekend, lots of extra parking in the lots next door on the weekends. Come early, it gets packed!
