Very small portions as a result its over priced. I ordered a small salad which was indeed small. I ordered catch of the day and it was this cute lil display that left me hungry. I ordered a clam chowder cup which was larger than a cup but came cold. It was the only part of the meal with flavor. Shame. The salad had hardly any dressing and their greens were sour. Even the banana dplit was the cutest lil thing fer 9$ it came with an extra spoon which really blew my mind. Lol i wont be waisting another penny here. The waitress never refilled my ice water that i sucked down before my meal came

Truth be told, I have only been there at night with neighbors to listen to music and toss back a few. My few experiences there have been wonderful. Nice staff, nice patrons, nice music. I really love this place! I think the new owners did a nice job with the atmosphere and decor. If you look at their Facebook page you can see the progression of work done on the place with lots of interesting comments and a picture of what the place looked like years ago. I promise I will write another review after I have a full sit down meal....

My wife and I were in the area from out of of town and the staff at the Hawthorn suggested that we check out 1400, so we did. Mikey, Giannis, and the rest of the staff were awesome, chatting with us, telling us the history of the Building and giving us pointers on what to see in there area. We had the lamb burger, some Mai Tais, and other drinks, all of which were top notch. Local or visitor, I recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Some of the food is not bad..better than a few months ago..one trouble.. people for the most part dislike Yanni..he bad mouths customers and berates employees..nobody stays..Mike is a great guy and so is Mikey,but Yanni ,one of the owners is an immature jerk and likes his rear end kissed and most people feel uncomfortable around him and consequenly dont patonize the place..my wife and I rarely go in

Recently changed ownership for the pizza portion and Ive been pretty happy with what they have so far. None of the pizzas have amazed me yet but its decent price, good service, and pretty good pizza. They have an awesome back patio and will light the fire if you ask and will bring drinks/food out to you. Great for groups on a summer night!

Worst experience dining out that weve had since my mother-in-law had bariatric surgery 3 years ago. They would not honor her medical card allowing her to order off the kids menu. Other people who were seated after us were served long before us. Fries were over done and salad was bagged and boring. By far the worst for my mother-in-law.

Great social hangout on the bottom of Webster in Alameda. The patio is comfortable, the beer is cold, and the servers are great. The food...hit or miss. The poblano burger is huge and totally worth it but the rest of the food is occasionally meh and occasionally great. Its open seating so walk in, grab any spot you like, and enjoy!

Anywhere where I can get a thanksgiving sandwich anytime of the year is okay by me. Though most of their food options are pretty heavy I enjoy getting a drink and hanging at the fireplace on the back patio. They are also dog friendly which I really love. Now if only their thanksgiving sandwich had a moist maker...

Awesome place to eat or drink. Lamb shanks and thanksgiving dinner rock. Cant go wrong w the 1400 burger. They make a mean old fashioned here and plenty of beer to satisfy just about anyones taste...full bar for those who dont like beer. If you get here between 5-515pm, grandma coopers are only $1.05.

Had the lamb burger, wing combo, and onion rings for a perfect meal after a hike. They had a delay for the onion rings because new batter needed to be made, so they decided to cover the rings for us! Awesome vibe overall and will definitely be coming back for an evening meal.

Just such a wonderful hang out for the area! Beers are great, drinks are good. And the food although not fancy, theyve got some good stuff. Brunch/breakfast on the weekends! And bottomless mimosas for $10!

Got stale iced tea, water was never refilled. The waiter didnt even come by to check. Paid for $150 meal with 2 $100s and they just assumed it was a tip as I waited there for 15 minutes for my change.

Fish and chips is disappointing for a pub. Omelettes are good though. There arent enough waiters when it gets busy; thus, if you sit at a table expect to have to go to the bar for drink refills.

The nachos were amazing. My sister and I shared a plate of nachos, and since shes a vegetarian, we ordered without meat. They were still very delicious. Next time, I will try them with meat.

This place is forcing out the amazing Crolls Pizza (their NEIGHBOR!) and replacing it with another pizzeria. Absolutely nuts. Do NOT go here and support this kind of behavior.
