Tried the Vanilla chai tea latte on a whim and it is the greatest chai latte I have ever had --if sweet, cinnamon~y beverages are your thing--. If youre sticking around make sure to ask for your beverage in a mug, somehow the weight and feel of their wide mouth mugs makes the drink 10 times better. Some of the staff are friendly and attentive whereas others will walk into their break room while working and forget that new customers have come in and are waiting on them. Its rather small, quiet, and casual. Good for meeting a friend to catch up in a comfy ambiance. Its not trendy, doesnt try to be and thats pretty refreshing these days. Its on the plainer side with minimal art and a little section of wall space with mugs, tea makers, and other things theyre trying to sell.

Barclays coffee is one of those unique places you will walk into and feel welcomed. Customer service is a lost art in Los Angeles County, so its refreshing when you experience it. I noticed theyre under new ownership and after meeting the new owners I left with a smile knowing they want to develop a customer base that appreciates customer service. I can see this place adding new location, but in the meantime I will continue to enjoy their wonderful coffee right there in Northridge. Keep up the good work Barclays and I will continue to recommend you to all my friends and co workers.

Wow what a cool Boba shop. Very cool and modern looking. Its a really nice interior that you dont see at most tea spots. Everything is also made with quality ingredients. You can taste it in each drink. The menu is very beautifully designed. We only came here because there was too much traffic and tried to kill time. Im glad we did. We ordered the Reta and it had a nice clean taste to it. The bobs also smaller and fresh. Nice and chewy. Great spot

This is one of those independent coffee shops where the owners have worked the counter for thirty years and all the young people they hire to help out love their jobs as much as they love their coffee. There arent a lot of tables inside, but there are nice shaded tables with umbrellas outside. Although you look out on a strip mall parking lot, if you sip your iced soy spiced frozen chai latte and close your eyes, you can see perfection from there.

Need any other reasons to come here to study/work? Oh yeah, definitely try the lavender latte. The cute decor in the coffee shop doesnt hurt either.

Barclays has always been my choice when in Northridge and going with my friends to the mall. A very wonderful place to just have an ice cold cappuccino smoothie. I also like how Jay has on the counter little goodies and that good friends dont take others to Starbucks. I recommend any coffee or tea lover to Barclays

I was shopping and really wanted a coffee. I was next in line and was waiting waiting waiting. The man in front of me was being difficult- I get it... But Then I realized that I hadnt been acknowledged or a little"well be right with you".... I left. The end.

This is an absolute GEM in Northridge. As a graduating CSUN student, I wish (wish wish wish wish) I knew about this place as a freshman. The service is outstanding, the coffee is amazing, and its just a cool place all around.

I have gone to Barclays for years. An independent. Jay, the owner, knows his products and is very honest friendly and helpful. The staff is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. An oasis that should not be missed.

I love their spiced chai tea latte! Always hits the spot and tastes better than Starbucks. My husband of a fan of their white chocolate mocha, which tastes like Vietnamese coffee.
