Honestly cant say I loved this place. The food was mediocre but service was nice. We got the: -chicken and waffles (which was a Fathers day special), the chicken is made the same way as the fried chicken on the menu. Batter flavor is great but it had some soft soggy spots -calamari appetizer: good if you like the rings soft and in light batter. Slightly oily but enjoyed it -chilaquiles: Im not an expert on this dish, but as a personal preference I thought it was oddly sour. The egg on top is pretty cool though and props for making a true "over medium" egg -empanadas: okay these are more like fried dough with mystery meat in the middle. Wasnt quite what we were expecting and flavor didnt stand out

Food was fine the second time it came out. I ordered a steak rare, it first came out well done. None of our waiters (I think we had at least 4) had any wine pairing suggestions for our dishes. We had reservations and were sat in the bar. Just all around not the experience we had read about.... how does a restaurant in Napa not have any idea what wine should be paired with my food?

Good food, but if you are hungry and want a real dinner, do not go here. I ordered a flat iron steak dinner and ended up with a 2" x 3" peace of meat. Im 6 3" and 300 lb and had to stop for fast food afterwords to top off. I will never darken their door again. This place is way over rated. Try producing a real dinner for the price you charge.

The food was great and priced well. The steak was a perfect cook. Service was on point. Our server was very tentative and made sure our beverages were always full, plates cleared in a timely manner and never made us feel rushed. Would definitely come back again when in the area.

Oysters were very fresh and tummy. Orchette pasta with mushrooms, fava beans and peas with optional blackened prawns quite good. Slaw with fish and chips lacked dressing and batter could use seasonings. Service is good, pleasant staff. Nice ambience.

Came for lunch. Food was OK, but there is olive oil on everything, even in my clam chowder (which was a bit watery). Also, the table was super wobbly. This seems to be a common issue, our neighbors had the same.

They catered a semi-formal dinner for 10 for our company and did an outstanding job! Prompt, efficient, and the entrees were beautifully presented. It was easy to do business with the management team, as well.

The food was delicious and service was top notch. I had scallops and my husband had the halibut. Both were delicious and the presentation is exquisite. Would definitely recommend Napa Valley Bistro!

We wandered in her for an early dinner. Just ok service and ok food. Probably would be a good lunch or brunch spot. It is the type of restaurant you would expect to have a happy hour menu...but doesnt.

Fun night out in Napa. Menu is approachable, and offers a lot of bang for your buck. Sea scallops were wonderful. Our waitress recommended a great wine selection. I would definitely come back!
