**This review is from a Mexicano** I went there last night with my wife for Mother’s day (celebrated in Mexico on May 10th), the restaurant itself is very nice as well was the attendant. The food on the other had was questionable. I have never had chile relleno deep fried with a half inch of what seemed to be panko crumbs, and the sauce was too sweet. The guac needed lime, the beans had a metallic taste, and the salsa wasn’t that good it seemed like it they just threw tomatoes and serranos in a belnder. The Chile con carne was way too salty and the enchiladas were just ok nothing rave about. We ended up leaving almost all the food, we felt bad, even the waitress asked if anything was wrong with the food... we said yes. Bottom line - If you’re looking for a Mexican restaurant with a nice setting, good service (note: our food took almost an hour on a relatively slow night, we assumed the food was made fresh so it was ok I guess), but if you don’t mind paying almost $20 for one not so good, artsy, inauthentic chile relleno with about 1 oz of bland rice then this is you place. I want to add that most of the plate here are a la cart and if you want bean, rice or tortillas, you have to order those desperately at about $5 to $6 each for a small portion... kinda ridiculous. Overall they are focusing too much on being artsy and charging for it. And I dont mind paying for good food, I went there knowing the prices, the food was just not good, not sure what people here are talking about. The five star reviews seem a little fishy to me. If you look online and see the poor reviews they are all similar, with key note "over priced". And over priced does not mean good food. Needless to say I would not go back as there are better places in Morgan Hill. And don’t get me wrong, I’m not the kind of person who thinks Mexican food is a hard shell taco filled with ground beef topped with yellow cheese and lettuce, or refried beans topped yellow cheese and call that authentic.

Been meaning to stop by here since they opened. Finally got over there Sunday evening. The menu was very different than most mexican restaurants and I was a little surprised at the cost. However, after receiving my Tequila Shrimp I am SOLD!! Best shrimp I have ever had. Husband got green sauce chicken enchiladas and simply awesome. The pork Pozole soup was amazing and I had to take most of it home as the dinner was just too filling. Cant wait till lunch today to finish my meal. The cost is higher than a regular mexican restaurant, but similar to mid-high end restaurants in the area. I highly recommend this small tucked away place. Well worth the cost!

The food here is excellent. I had the atun cellado (ahi on a bed of poblano risotto) and LOVED it. Enchiladas are also fantastic. They have a great collection of tequila and mezcal, as well as house margaritas. The service is really friendly and attentive, but needs some polish. We had side and drink orders forgotten. I give this place five stars for the food, and hope service was just off for a busy night.

Oh my gosh! The food was excellent. The young lady who served me, Amanda, gave me the best service Ive had in a long time which says a lot. However, upon another experience with the restaurant on today at 3:20pm, the woman I dealt with was far less hospitable and service oriented. Great food and great service besides the one woman mentioned above!

Wonderful authentic gourmet Mexican food from a professional chef who grew up in Morgan Hill and trained in Mexico and San Francisco. This isnt your typical rice and beans place. Everything is made fresh to order, and they take their time to get it right. Even the deserts are special - try the bread pudding!

Service was poor, love the decoration and music, menu very poor, not many choices it felt like i was buying from a taco truck even a taco truck has more choices, it feels more like a bistro or tapas place, it needs to improve in prices and variety as well as service, not coming back sorry, just my opinion...

Even better then I remember! The food was out of this world. Great service from our waiter and the bar. I eat seafood soup/pasta, usually ciopino, at least once a month. The seafood soup in a stone bowl was amazing. Fresh shellfish in the best broth Ive ever had!

Wonderful food. Had the chili relleno and a taste of a quesadilla. The relleno had and interesting smokey cilli taste and the quesadilla was made with a thick corn totilla and melt in your mouth cheese. I would go again!

Loved it! Tuna appetizer was spectacular, margaritas are very interesting, guacamole outstanding, and everyone in our party was happy with their entree. Festive atmosphere tops it off. Will certainly be back!

Ahi Tuna dish and Camarones were both delicious. Margarita was very good too. Might have been a little too lightly staffed, but it was a Thursday night, so we didnt wait too long for anything.

Absolutely delicious and authentic Mexican food. I spoke with the owners to complement them. Everything is home made even the ice cream for desert. Coconut ice cream was delicious.

Simply amazing, especially since the chef owner is sensitive and accommodating to those with food allergies. The tastes are true to the culture and the ambiance is magnificent.

So I think this is the best Mexican food Ive ever had. Ever. This is not your corner burrito shop.
