Das Lokal ist uns vom nebenanliegenden Motel empfohlen worden (mit dem es auch "verbandelt" ist). Bei solchen Empfehlungen sind wir immer sehr vorsichtig, wurden aber sehr positiv überrascht: sehr gutes Steak, sehr geschmackvolle mexikanische Gerichte jenseits vom TexMex-Einerlei. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen (auch das Motel selbst als Zwischenstopp zum Yosemite).

Pros: The enviroment of this restaurant is very nice; it is well decorated and fun. The menu has a lot of options which is great. Cons: The food was over priced for portion, and quality... Fish tacos had hardly any fish & the shrimp in my sisters burrito was extremely overcooked. Service was the worst part; our server was bland, and lacked personality. We waited for refills for a while and then was brought the wrong drink. Our server also made an easily avoidable mistake in ordering our food which caused some confusion. Overall, we will not be returning when we can spend less for much more somewhere else.

Very nice place, good food, the portions are really large you guys!!! You can share a plate between 2 o 3 easily!! It is delicious! The only thing I can say though is that we felt rush since the first moment we sat down on a table, it looked that the servers were in a hurry for everything and that is not nice, we even didnt have time to look at the menu properly and we didnt like that, but, everything that we had the chance to order was really good.

Very slow service!! Alcoholic drinks are waaaay to strong! To the point where theyre just horrible! We went with a party of 5 once, and we sent back 2 drinks! And were not picky about alcoholic drinks! I usually drink long islands and I like a little bite to my drinks, but their long island was pure tequila and vodka. Waaay too overpriced too! I threw up one night after eating the sampler. El Jardin in Manteca is much better.

Worst place for Mexican food. They fool American guests, but they cant fool a Latin American guest. I ordered shrimp enchiladas, but they only used 2 shrimps; diced very thin, mostly was given cheese and sauce. They take their sweet time to take your order. Save your money and go elsewhere. If you want real food try Nenas Mexican restaurant in Stockton at the waterfront.

The food is good but lately it has been hit and miss. We order the same 2-4 items every time we go and there is a distinct change in the taste/consistency like they have different cooks who make the salsas and food from a different recipe. The servers are varying in degrees of proficiency sometimes excellent sometimes poor. I would recommend the location in Ripon.

"Destination Assist" helped guide us to restaurants in Manteca. We settled on Las Casuelas because she commented " Thia one looks really good!" And was it ever! The signature dish, the "molcajete" of mixed meats was spectacular- enough for two! It truly must be one of the best, if not THE best Mexican dining in the area. Dont miss it!

I have traveled through Mexico, Honduras and Spain, not long enough though, but I have enjoyed the flair of the regions. My wife and I are quite pleased with this place and have gone there twice. There will be a 4th and more visit to be sure. Honest food, drinks well made, and the staff is very attentive.

Grate food! horrible staff!!! The manager of this restaurant is rude as can be. The liquor is watered down. I had to send back the same drink 4 times before it was right. only after the bartender opening a new bottle (when there was a full one already open) was the drink strong enough.

Went for breakfest, the service was real slow, seem like forever waitng to get a order, appears they are just waking up and getting other things prepated for lunch and breakfest is a low priorty and breakfest was not all that great as expected. Will not eat breakfest there....

BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN THE VALLEY!!!! My wife and I go here all of the time. The food is great, just like home made. The staff is very nice and knows how to take care of the customers. Be careful, the chips and salsa (and bean dip) can get addicting.

I have been here several times and it is always busy. I expected service to be on the slow side since it was so crowded but, to my surprise, it wasnt. Good service, good food and, as a vegetarian, I really appreciate all the meatless options.

Go there often, live near by, female Bartenter is very rude and acts like she owns the place, took a bag of oranges and lemon to the Bartender and didnt even get a Free Beer, Bad service and food is not that good and over priced

Good food only problem I seen was Manegers having liquor drinks with co worker while working & co workers going in camera room turning off camera so they can have there drinks very sad to see while eating in a nice restaurant

Good food Amazing service. Never had to ask for refills there was always just a new full glass there when it would get low. They also give you been dip with the chips and salsa. I will definitely be coming back to this place

The staff are wonderful, the facility is very clean, and the food is top notch. I had the Las Casuelas Molcajete with chicken and its to die for, but probably better suited to a few people instead of just me hahaha

I got a steak quesadilla lunch but didnt like the flavor of the meat. It was pretty pricy imo went to take a friend for her birthday lunch and they had her ride a saddle while everyone sang, that was pretty funny!

Finally tried this place. Its always busy (good thing right?) so never had time til now. Its pretty good, salsa is excellent and the atmosphere is nice and in a safe area. I will go again.
