Ive only been to this bakery once but I get their pastries from Farmers Market (Campbell, California Ave in Palo Alto, etc.) almost every Sunday. Theres a small private lot in the front, usually there are spaces during off-peak hours. I love love love the Kouign-Amann (pronounced Queen Amon). Its a French pastry made of folded Crossiant dough and lots of butter. The bottom is a sugar shell similar to the caramelized sugar crust of creme brulee. manresas version is seriously the best version Ive ever had. I usually dont use absolute terms to describe food but this is my FAVORITE pastry right now. If you havent tried it, you are seriously missing out! If you are not into sweets, the freshly baked bread are great too, so ive heard. I have yet to try it because they are all pretty big in size. Did I mention that I love the Kouign-Amann?

This small bakeshop is in the back of a strip mall. Lots of parking. A few seats. They serve great coffee and absolutely delicious French pastries made with fresh, local ingredients. I like the monkey bread, the cookies, and the sourdough bread. Everything is freshly made. This isnt a "cute" bakery with cakes or cookies shaped like baby heads or something. Its not romantic or cozy. This is more of an industrial kitchen that allows people to purchase their baked goods (to take elsewhere).

Their Manresa Levain loaf is absolutely amazing, and has a nutty, earthy taste that reminds you how good freshly baked bread can really be. I also enjoyed their Monkey Bread pastry, which is essentially like a buttery, sugary pull-apart bun. Expect to pay a relatively steep premium (especially for pastries) for such high quality baked goods, and make sure to arrive early for the first pick before popular items begin selling out. Overall a wonderful bakery, Im excited to return!

Hands down the best bread in the Bay Area. Their levain is the only levain out of dozens I tried here that tastes like a real European levain. Monkey bread is our favorite pastry. Their chocolate tart is amazing. The only pastry Im not impressed by is croissant and pain au chocolat - the crumb is too dry, too flakey, and not buttery enough compared to the one you usually get in a good French patisserie.

If not for the sign on the street, we would have missed this hidden treasure. $10 for a loaf of bread? The fruit and nut loaf we bought was crusty on the outside, moist on the inside, full of nuts, seeds, and dried fruit. It was worth every penny. I wish they were closer. I may have to order a shipment for delivery to Connecticut…

Their pastries and breads a wonderful. Theyve recently added coffee drinks to their menu and the coffee is delicious. Their kouign amann is the best Ive ever tasted. They also make a few optionsyummy gluten free options. They tend to run out if things so if you want something specific go there early in the day.

This place is a little expensive for a student or average worker, but if you love high quality baked goods made from some of the finest ingredients, this place is fantastic. Their seasonal Cherry, Almond, & Polenta loaf is AMAZING ! The layers on the chocolate croissant is equally impressive.

The pastries are great here, they are a little on the expensive side but well worth he money. This is also the best place to get coffee in town, they serve verve coffee from Santa cruz and know the right way to make a latte. If you havent been here you should absolutely check it out

Literally the best pastries anywhere. The price reflects that, but it is worth it every time. They also recently opened an espresso bar in the building with Verve coffee and espresso. Be sure to get there early in the day especially on weekends because they will run out of pastries!

The baked goods are delicious- my favorite is definitely the kouign amann, which is very dense, buttery, and sweet. The savory breakfast items are great as well, but are served cold. The menu changes frequently so there are always new items. Note that they are only open till 3 pm.

Their bread is good for the area cuz everything else is worse. If youve been to Europe, you wont love their pastry here. The size of the croissant is too big & too much butter. The skin is stealth. Their nut breads are better. Very pricey.

The baker for the iconic Michelin 3-star restaurant Manresa... I cant even begin to describe how wonderful the bread is. And the pastries are amazing (especially the Kouign-amann, a caramely flaky butter-laden delight for the mouth).

Neat small shop in the middle of Los Gatos. Price may be a little expensive for what it is, but it is definitely worth it. My favorites and must haves are the baguette, monkey bread, and almond croissants.

Whats not to Love? The bread and pastry is wonderful; the staffs are friendly and knowledgeable, they helps a lot in deciding what I want to try; plus, the new coffee counter makes wonderful capuchino.

I wish I could give it a better review. I had the Almond Croissant. It tasted like it was deep-fried. Way over-baked. I have had bad croissants in France too, but this is by far the worst. Disappointed.

Expensive but delicious. Their pumpernickel rye was spot on and their Kouign-Ammans are great. Can also get their pastries at Chromatic Coffee in Sunnyvale and Palo Alto and Campbell Markets.

French bakery with fantastic sweet pastries. Highly recommend the Kouign Amann and Monkey Bread. For coffee, they serve delicious Verve beans though the espresso shots seem extra short.

They serve Verve coffee....what more can I say? Well, the Monkey Bread was so delicious, my friend started making monkey sounds to get me to give him more...
