The waitress was very rude you know who you are .I was going to have a lunch meeting with an artist I asked to use the restroom before we sat down & she immediately said that I had to purchase @ least a bolltle of water because the restrooms were only for customers..really ..she assumed that I wasnt going to consume anything . I asked her if she was the manager & she said no . I expressed my feelings by telling her that I did not feel comfortable with her attitude & she said u can leave. I hope that the owner reads this to bad for your business ..I have travel the world & never saw someone as arrogant bad news ..we ended up eating across the street & they treated us very nice

I have NEVER done this before but I left a stingy $3.00 tip. The salad was not good at all, soggy tough onion, tasteless eggplant and greens without any recognizable dressing. I was surprised. However, the fact that the waiters never refilled our coffee cups nor my water glass, nor did they meet our eyes when we attempted to give them a signal that we wanted something was unforgivable. I am not doing them a favor by eating there, they are supposed to welcome and serve me. I do NOT demand "at your elbow service" but I appreciate it when staff does its job.

Midi is a real break from the norm of typical romaine salads covered in thick, syrupy dressing. They have a great european inspired collection of salads that never fail to disappoint. Service is great and if you are lucky even the french owner Edouard will grace you with his presence and witty humor.

Best place for breakfast in the State of California. Im not kidding. This place rocks. Its mostly a French cafe, but with Moroccan and Mexican influences. The food is as good as food gets, and the owner is an awesome guy, too. Do NOT leave L.A. without eating here. Youre welcome.

I always sit inside. Great atmosphere, friendly, if sometimes harried, small staff, diverse food selection, tasty desserts ...and French music wafting over it all. An experience.
