After frequenting the SM location numerous times, I was so excited to finally have a location in our backyard! Its located on the 2nd level of Pacific City mall (above Bear Flag) and actually has ocean views from their patio. The dress code is casual, but lots of girls tend to dress up in heels - which threw me for a loop. The line is a bit gnarly at the moment, given that a) its summer b) it just opened and c) people finally found a lounge with chill vibes to hang at in HB that is nothing like Sharkeez. Sorry Sharkeez, no offense. We still like you guys too. The ambiance is exactly what the name says. Bungalow. Think of that baller friend you wish you had with a crazy nice beach house on the ocean, used for partying, and invite 1,000 strangers to. That is what it is. Plenty of couches, tables and places to cozy up with your pals. Overall, great vibes, drinks and location. I have a feeling my credit card is going to be a regular here.

The most notable factor with this place is the design and layout. You can go plenty of places to get a drink, but this is broken down into different rooms and sitting areas with indoor and outdoor options and thought out into every part of it. With the 360 view of the Pacific, you have a great set up. To mix in the wildcard of the crowd.... you just get Fantastic people watching. Im talking the oc mainstream, the hippest of hipster and those that just want to party. All in all - bring a good group of friends and settle in for a good time watching the sunset and the sun set on the sober minds of young professionals letting loose. I would recommend making a reservation though. Sometimes theres a line.

Place is fun but needs an update to their sexist rules of entry. As a tourist area they will let a woman in with a purse but wont consider letting their partner in with a small Camelback or murse unless you look super foreign and pretend to not understand the rules, then its cool. Was denied entry and no where to put my bag since they dont hold it or care to check it for any harmful or contraband items. Really inconvenient and no consideration for travelers.

I was in town from the Philly area and stopped by this bar while walking around town. I came in the middle of the week and it was a perfect setting as Im told the weekend lines can be very long. This is by far the best lounge/bar I have been to. Awesome design and decor with multiple rooms, couches both indoor and outdoor, fire pits, etc. I highly recommend. The staff and manager Danny were very friendly and I cant wait to get back.

Great views of the Pacific. However, I think people overdress considering this is just HB. The atmosphere is closer to an LA bar scene than I would prefer for a beach community. I think this place would be much more fun if the clientele toned it down a notch and made it more of a laid back locals joint. Just my opinion though.

When the sign on the table said reservations at 9pm but they kick you off at 6pm. Nice attitude by the waitress too. Could have ask nicely or gave us a chance to pay for the table. See you never.

Very nice view. Keep in mind that its first come first seating which is almost always open before they opened. Came on a Wednesday at 5 just as they opened and had an ocean view.

This is my new favorite place in huntington beach. It was like a big house party with a great patio view of the ocean. One of the Best views in town. Loved the music
