MG Club of So Cal stopped by to eat after one of our outings. i didnt know what to expect but found the surrounding inviting and homey. The hamburger my wife split was more than enough and extremely tasty, so much that we are going back tonight for more. We ordered sweet potatoe fries as part of our meal but another club member ordered potato chips. Those potato chips were home made - not too thin, crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. Another reason we are going back again, they were the best Ive ever. The atmosphere friendly, waitress witty and funny with pleasant disposition.

buena atención, pero la musica no inicia a la hora programada.. la playa esta a pocos metros en la parte de atrás del restaurante, el lugar cuenta con poco parqueo pero puedes dejar el auto en las profundidades, somo debes ver el horario hábil para poder hacerlo

Went here with my bf after trying to go to another place but, it was too crowded. He remembered the original owners and thought I should check it out. We went to see that there was a 3 person band about to play soon. I had the veggie burger and he had the Forgetaboutit. We shared the garlic fries. The food was good, the band was good, singing classics like Dolbey Greys "Drift Away" and it was a nice experience. Will go back there again.

Husband and I had the house-made potato chips, onion rings, Brix salad plus beer and wine. Everything was very well done; chips crispy, onion rings perfect and the salad had a deft touch. My only critical remarks would be to remove the hand painted sign outside and straighten up the outside patio. Service was very friendly and its a half block from Sunset Beach.

The BEST Pastrami Sandwich In California !!! PERIOD !!! Beer and Wine only so beware if you are a shots and drunks kind of person. Karaoke Lounge On Tuesday from 6 to 10 pm so get over here right after work and have some adult fun and enjoy the great crowd singing your favorites. ( you can sing also ) So come on down folks !!!

The food was amazing as usual. The music coming out of the speakers. .not so much. The Fuhhgetaboutit. .is always a culinary orgasm. . I tried the Chipotle chicken burger with garlic fries and it was incredible. .but I will go back to the pastrami gastrointestinal experience next time.

The burgers are top shelf !.. we went on a Sunday just before noon and seemed to be the perfect time. The menu has some pretty unique items on the appetizer side, as well as the entrées! .. Cobb salad sandwich? .. 3-thumbs up ! Well DEFINITELY be back to try more of the menu !

Cozy, good beer. Happy hour all day Monday. We came for paint night through Paint and Vino. The garlic fries and chicken tenders were good. The burger and pastrami sandwich were really big and filling. The draft beer was good. The margarita unfortunately was bottled.

Food was ok... not great, but ok for pub grub. Craft beer selection was very good. Ambience was ok. Didnt try wine bar which isseparate yet connected to bar. I may try that another time. I wouldnt give the bar another try and I like a good neighborhood bar.

Poor service, waited over 10 minutes before anyone noticed 4 of us were sitting at the bar. Waitress had a bad attitude with multiple customers. This place was on "Bar Rescue" (TV Show), not too long ago, it has potential, but it still needs help

Great little wine bar, (and a good selection of beer too)! This is the original spot - the owner has now opened a Brix on 2nd in Belmont Shores too. Music on the wine side, couple of TVs on the beer side. I have discovered some great wine here.

Happy hour is the way to do it - garlic fries were amazing - excellent beer and wine selection. Did not enjoy the mahi mahi tacos (they were bland) but the calamari was perfect and the Caesar salad very enjoyable. Service was excellent.

Advertised open mic til 11 - closed it down early so we missed the comic we came to see. Advertised happy hour all night - didnt honor it and had no explanation as to why and simply handed me the bill trying to rush us out.

Brix has a lot to offer. They have great beer and wine lists. Its a very repaved relaxed place that frequently features local musicians. The food doesnt disappoint either. Id imbibe more of it werent for the prices.

Brix was great. Dont believe the negetive review. They are happy to open any bottle for tasting and it is a very comfortable atmosphere. The fireplace is a great place to hang out and enjoy a glass or two.

Awesome place. Have the owner, Rick, suggest a bottle or wine for take home or just come in for a tasting. The atmosphere is cool and relaxed. No wine snobs, also a great beer selection and decent food.

I have always had such a great experience at Brix. The staff is very knowledgeable and will help you find the right beer or wine. However it can be very crowded and it is a little expensive.
