The Greenview Restaurant may not simply be the worst restaurant in Hidden Valley Lake, CA - but the worst restaurant in the nation. What restaurant can you name that sets up the termination of its own employees a year in advance of their dismissal? What restaurant do you know would have one of their own employees so destitute that a church would open up a pantry reserved for the homeless to help feed him? What restaurant do you know would deliver a hot breakfast cold and still demand the customer pay for a meal that was obviously unsatisfactory? What restaurant do you know would attempt to cover up a civil violation by its own chef by firing the person who "blew the whistle" on the inappropriate conduct? There is only one restaurant I am aware of that has actually done all these horrible things - tthe Greenview Restaurant of Hidden Valley Lake. Jon Morgan

Tried this place a few times. The first time the food was great and the atmosphere was fun. The second time the food was less impressive and took way too long. The third time the food took forever and came out cold. That is it, last try. The 3 stars is for having a good bar. But I would buy a deli sandwich at hardesters and then drink here...hope they get it together

I took my favorite gal there for Valentines Day dinner. She got a red rose (I didnt!) and was really impressed with the surf and turf dinner--big NE lobster tail--nice glass of Pope Valley Merlot (their wine of the month). Service was good, nice setting in their Greenview Room, complete with table cloths, etc. Very friendly staff and were looking forward to going again.

I dont know about others experience at the Greenview, but I had a great meal, that was served fast, hot, and a lot of it. The place has a frendly and warm feeling. Greenview has come a lone way.
