This rating is for their lunch buffet. I have been to nearly every Indian lunch buffet between Oakland and Hercules (including so many Berkeley ones). This is absolutely my favorite. Consistently fresh, high quality, DELICIOUS food and friendly helpful employees. Thank food isnt watered down or bland like many other places. My favorites are the spinach and the garbanzo beans and the lentils and the fish pakora. They rotate whats on the buffet but always have at least 4 vegetarian options and about 4 meats. The naan is perfect and they have free chai. It is sooo worth the drive if you dont live nearby. They stop putting fresh food out around 2:30. Youre welcome ;)

My wife and I ate at this newly opened restaurant on a Friday night. We ordered fish tikka masala and goat curry. They were both delicious especially the goat curry. The fish had orange sauce which was not too appealing.Next time I will try vegetarian curry. Their naans are very delicious and crispy. We tried garlic and plain.For starters we ordered papadam and vege samosas which were crisp and tasty topped up with mint sauce. Kheer for dessert was a nice texture and smooth soothing taste.Richard, the server is a very courteous and helpful person.We will definitely return

Enjoyed a delicious spread at buffet lunch a few weeks ago. Came back and enjoyed the most flavorful dinner on a wet Wednesday. Ordered Daal Masala, Mixed Naan Basket, Vegetable Biryani, Tandoori Chicken and Karahi Chicken. Every dish was a hit and the selection complimented each other. Will definitely return for more meals. So Mmm... yummy

Just got tikka massala for take out. I was given no rice for dish which cost $12. Dont you think that is enough to include rice? It would be nice if we were at least notified that curry comes without the rice. We discovered this when we already got home. An actual food was Ok, nothing spectacular, the sauce was too sweet.

Really good Indian food. Went there for the lunch buffet which I usually dont do, but after almost 3 hours of eating perfectly seasoned and cooked food, and good conversation, Id go back.

Pretty good, tasty food. Had the lamb shank that was really good. Bhindi masala was pretty good, I do like it a bit more caramelized. Every dish comes with rice or plain naan.
