Please check my review posted few months ago and see the contrast between then and now. I have to say service has become really bad and staff is very unprofessional and inexperienced. Plus, Cleanliness is something not given any importance in this restaurant. Last but definitely not the least, food. Food quality has gone down tremendously in last few months. Specially, the North Indian Thali (too much chilli in veggies), Manchu Ping-pong (Gravy is very watery), Falooda (It was served raw first and on complaining they served just the ice-cream without even asking because they said Falooda noodles were not ready). All in all restaurant quality has gone down a lot. My previous review: Me and my wife have been in love with this restaurant since we started having dinner there around 4 months ago. Taste is amazing and very close to authentic tasty indian food. We have never been let down by any dish we ordered here, be it Dahi Gappa, Go! Chaat Platter, Bhel Sundae, Chhole Bhature, Pav Bhaji, North Indian Thali, Haka Saka Noodles, Veggie Chowmein or Manchu Ping-Pong (Gobi manchurian with gravy). Every dish is quite delicious and perfectly seasoned. Go! Chaat platter and Manchu Ping-Pong is a must try. A dinner here would never be heavy on your pocket rather itll be much cheaper than expected.

I moved to the Bay Area from NY and stumbled upon this restaurant while I was driving around. I was pleasantly surprised by the awesome food and lively atmosphere. On my first visit I ordered Chaat Platter and Papdi Poppers and instantly fell in love with the authentic taste and aroma of spicy flavors that you only find in select places in India. The service was excellent and the waiter was friendly and made me feel welcome. I have come back to Go Chaatz few more times and also brought my friends. I have tried their Gobi Manchurian, Masala Dosa and Paneer Chili Chow. Everything that we have ordered here seems to be made with care and dedication with lots of attention to detail. The restaurant has a wide selection of menu items (North & South Indian) and they even serve Paan Ice Cream which is my all time favorite! I am giving FIVE STARS for this awesome restaurant and have been blown away by the amazing menu choice, healthy cooking and awesome service. They are located in Fremont and I only wish they also open an additional location in San Jose.

Good personalized service, a great variety of global vegetarian Indianized global food (Indian, Chinese, Italian, Mexican), fast service & great taste! We have had the chana bhatura (very good), pakora curry, dry gobi manchurian (crispy fried cauliflower) which was good, taco delli (I really liked these 2 vegetarian tacos - I asked for cheese on the side), vegetable dum biryani (not too spicy), the margherita pizza which is a thick hard crusted Indian style pizza & was good, the sandwich uttapam which was really good but a huge portion (so good for a meal for 2), & the samosa cocktail which is also a full meal. For drinks, the rose shake was outstanding, chiku (sapodilla) shake was incredibly tasty, the thandai shake was great, and the aam panna (green mango juice) was refreshing.

Very underwhelming. We have been here three times and every time we have managed to order at least two dishes which were not good. Be it the Indo-Chinese food, the soups, many curries were mediocre (the Rajma and Chole were REALLY bad, The roties were average at best, the paneer dishes had hardly any paneer and more gravy). The pani-puri was pretty bad (compared to places like Chatpatta Corner which is sadly not under operation for some time now). To summarize for a place which has such a great ambience and extremely delicious looking pictures of food throughout their restaurant, the food is underwhelming at best.

Go Chaatz is a great restaurant for Chaat (snacks) and wholesome meals throughout the day. The ambience of the place is pleasant and the servers are kind and respectful. Bathrooms are clean. The only negative here is the hygiene - water may sometimes not be pure and the spoons/forks are not always clean. Could be better in that sense. But the food tastes great for a reasonable price! Try the go Chaatz platter and veg dum biryani. Vada pav is a great snack too. And down it all with chai.

I was ecstatic to find this place by accident, for some reason it doesnt show up as being vegetarian/vegan. Its a vegetarian restaurant, with many vegan options and the kitchen was accommodating enough to leave off cream/butter. Everything was fresh and well prepared, comfortable seating and very reasonably priced. They really need to have a better online presence and list themselves as vegetarian.

Food was good, they have a wide variety of cuisines.... Indo-Chines, south India /North Indian, Indi-western ... And their customer service is great too. The other day they forgot to pack an item, when I went for Pickup, so after I called, they drove all the way and bought it for me, without me insisting on it, which was pleasantly unusual. Good job... Will go again

Do not recommend. We ordered a couple of items. Samosas and Bhaaji of Paav-Bhaaji looked like were at least a day old. We also found potato skin inside Samosa. Water jug and glasses were dirty as if no one cleaned it for days. Did not like the food taste. Service was okay but could have been better. Wont go again., do not recommend.

Breakfast buffet is an absolutely joke. False advertsing on menu as they dont even half of what tbe menu says Horrible service. No one to even seat or to provide Water. They use cheap strofoam plates..Never seen this kind of service. Advise to Mgmt if they care..You can get lotalty by advertising true menu and better service.

Good food, pathetic service. We have been going to this restaurant since inception and we loved food and service. Time after time I am seeing drastic drop in service quality and coordination between staff. Food is good but not outstanding to visit them and wait for a dosa 45 mins. I am done with this restaurant.

Have tried Chola Bhatura, Samosa and some stuff parathas, everything at this place was decent and I would not mind coming again. If one is looking for North India kind of food, its a place to visit and how can I not mention about the music, you can get to hear late 90s, early 2000 Bollywood music

Love the food, great service and lovely ambiance. The tasty food brings back memories of yummy street food we used to eat back in India except this is more hygenic. The taste is unbeatable. I drive all the way from San Jose to Fremont just to eat there vada pav, its that good!!!

Worst table service, Horrible food, untidy rooms, waiter came to our table only after 30 minutes of waiting . Food ordered served to our table only after 20 minutes . Just imagine we have to wait literally 50 minutes to get our food, please avoid going to this place

The food, service, and ambiance of this restaurant is on point. Even the menu is easy to understand! I might have gotten carried away ordering too many items! I will certainly return with more people. Especially my vegetarian and vegan co-workers.

So a typical desi/indian fast food restaurant... no service, dirty toilets, shabby decore , right!.... not this place. Really clean, very professional, tasty food, ambience is good. My picky desi/american family loved it ... you go chatzz:)

Not at all consistent with the food taste. I happen to see someone in the kitchen jumping while wearing dirty shoes over a big pot with food in it(mostly some sort off a curry). I hope no one would have gotten sick from eating that curry.
