First of all I am Mexican and I know what a burrito of asada is and thats not what I got . We order a burrito and fajita the burrito 9.99 and fajita 16.99. I dont care of how much it is. I will pay it if is worth it. In this case I got a big burrito of beans and rice?!?!?$ WTF!! Really.. So we paid and I ask to apeak with the so call manager. Useless person. She made it like, next time if you want more meat let us know, beacause we only put 5oz of meat. I was well maybe next time you can put that on the menu that its only 5oz of meat and if Im ok eating a beans and rice burrito I will order it. Her answer was well would you like more meat.?!?!? Really?!?!? I had paid already and I tell her that all I wanted to say is that a 9.99 burrito should be on the menu as beans and rice burrito. I was like never mind thank you speaking with me. The manager should take some customer service classes and because the owner is family the sister or cousin can be manager. The only upside was, the beans and rice where good..

Family owned, decently priced, FOOD WAS DELICIOUS, had the house peach margarita 12oz on the rocks, bottomless chips and salsa, combination fajitas, extra side of the diabla sauce (sweet and smokey), fresh flour tortillas, beans & rice, guac sour cream pico, huge food portions! Shared the fajitas with my mother, she had the house cadillac margarita on the rocks 24oz. Pleasantly surprised to find out that everything is made from scratch in this restaurant! Ive lived in the Pittsburg/Antioch area now for 7 years and FINALLY have found a good Mexican food place. Staff was friendly, attentive, and all about taking care of the customer first. From the moment we walked in the door to when we left, we were welcomed and treated like family. Im all about supporting local businesses, but love it even more when I know my money goes to a place that hits the nail on the head in every way shape and form. Im already looking forward to my next visit so I can try the Chile Verde

Ive been to Cocina Medina a couple of times with the family for dinner, and its always been a good time. I usually get a combination plate here, with various items, and everything Ive tried has been pretty good. The pork is especially tasty. Decor is simple but decent; Mexican-themed but modern, and the dining area has been fresh and clean every time. Service has been good, and they are prompt with refills, which is important on a hot day. Im looking forward to my next visit.

This place sucked. Asked for a breakfast burrito waiter said not available so I ordered a shrimp chimi which also was not available because "food allergies" getting in the oil. At this point the manager came over and offered a breakfast burrito. When it came out it was less than half a sandwich. Needless to say it was unacceptable. THIS PLACE SUCKS. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!

The place had a good environment. The service wasnt bad if could have used some improvements. I got my Chilli relleno and it tasted burnt. My wifes food, which she ate all of because she need food, was also burnt. The put the same mole sauce on all of our food. The only thing that I liked eating was the chips and salsa and the rice and beans, and I can make that at home.

WOW DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!! First time going today for dinner on a BUSY Sunday LOTS of family & friends going in and out happily! (great first sign) Friendly and GREAT Service! Clean and tidy (even the bathroom super Clean) OHH & of course THE FOOD so much flavor, HOT & tasteful!!! Fell in LOVE with everything from the starting with chips & salsa OMG!

The staff and decor are really incredible! I only gave it 3 stars because I ordered steak fajitas and they were bland and the steak was tough. My friend was able to get a vegan burrito that she really liked and that was great. I still highly recommend this family owned business. Ill just ask them what they recommend next time.

There people are so amazing nice. I have no idea what the heck the other reviewers are writing about. The food is good, but the reason I go often is that its a pleasure to deal with the staff. Im a grumpy old guy. If theyre nice to me, they must be nice to everyone. Pro tip: Ask for the spicy salsa, its really really good.

the best Mexican restaurant ever! The service is exceptional and the food is utterly amazing I must go! Its already a major hot spot it is constantly busy but they do a phenomenal job I wouldnt eat Mexican food Anywhere But Here! If they served anything Id still go here theyre awesome!

This is my favorite place to have authentic tasting Mexican food. I have had so many different dishes here and have yet to be disappointed. My absolute favorite are the two fajita combos the Cancun and the Tijuana. Also the Cadillac margaritas are both strong and delicious.

We go here often and love it. Clean, classy. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is the food sometimes is a little bland on flavor. And I dont mean hot sauce. Seasonings could be a little stronger. But I will still eat here or order take-out.

I have actually found this restaurant excellent. The food is awesome. Portions are great. The best part is the service. Everyone is friendly and warm and I have never had a bad experience here. I highly recommend it!!

On hot days it seems the air conditioning cant keep up with the large dining room and kitchen output. Due to this issue I am giving them 3 stars. Staff is wonderful, and the food is priced reasonable, and tastes great.

This is the place you used to go years ago but isnt around anymore. A nice bar with fast friendly bartenders and reasonably priced drinks, and lots of cheap good food. Be prepared to wait, its busy. Recommended.
