Had a great day at disneyland with my wife and 2 year old daughter. Had a sonics gift card and was looking forward to sonics after disney all day. We were hungry and ready to grub. We leave disney at 11(closing time) and arrive at sonics at 11:20pm. Pull up to drive in. Press button. No reply . Press button no reply..5 mins later get a reply, order food and food arrives 15 mins later. Everything was wrong. Wifes chicken sandwich was cold, daughters frys were cold. Sloppy mess of everything. No tomato in chicken sandwich after i specifically asked. Sure ok we arent trying to be picky so we are trying to eat our mess and a worker comes up to our car to tell us our gift card is no good and has a zero balance. I tell them to check again because i checked the balance a few times including before we came in and the employee says they are having computer issues and have to restart their systems...bs....5 mins later and same thing they come back to my car again to bother us and embarass us in public telling us we need to pay cash to cover the balance because our gift card is no good. So i pull my phone out and say im going to call customer service, employee chokes and all of a sudden says they can check the balance on my card.i say no thank you i will call customer service and get to the bottom of this, customer serive picks up and they tell me card was charged 15 minutes ago by sonics in fullerton(LEMON ST LOCATION)...my 2 year old picks up on my anger and is starting to scream and cry at this point at the top of her lungs because me and my wife are also now are in an argument over all this unnecessary crap.....fed up and angry and after losing my appetite me, my wife and daughter walk up to front to confront them and tell them they already charged me, as we walk up, there is the BIGGEST CLOUDS OF SMOKE OF DRUGS CLEARLY(i wasnt born yesterday i know what that was)filling up the restaurant lobby and parking spots right next to lobby. Sure its not my business but when my 2 year old daughter and wife are standing next to me inhaling all that smoke and the manager knows what car its coming from after my wife asked why there is all the smoke everywhere and why they are allowing people to smoke their paraphenelia in a family restaurant and the employees are all giggling about it and i almost think they too are taking part in it and not to mention the health inspector would shut down this place if they saw how dirty things looked. I almost couldnt believe the way this place was being run and i was just in shock. This was my second time eating at a sonics. Was really let down. At 12:40 we got our food corrected but still wasnt that happy. Maybe the food was ok but after being harassed, humiliated, and distressed, i just wasnt that hungry anymore. I always thought of sonics as a good restaurant quality drive thru/in but now im thinkin we shuda just went to mcdonalds. Thanks to the lady manager for correcting our order an hour later but it was just an hour too late. We left at 1am from fullerton and didnt get home till 3am because of all the madness going on at the sonics location...

Time of visit: 10pm on 10/12/15- I Waited over 20 minutes for someone to take our order (not the first time for this), and almost everything was wrong. Ordered two hot dogs (Chicago + New York) which had random ingredients in them that normally dont exist (some weird sauce and raw onions in the new York, and no peppers or poppy seed bun on the chicago), this aside they gave us the wrong drinks and then completely disappeared instead of remaking them immediately when requested (good customer service much?). We had to rebuzz in (another 20 minute wait) just to demand the right drinks, and then received no apology for the service, and got a snide look from the waitress. On top of this even, we also ordered a hot fudge sundae and received a chocolate sundae. Only a slight difference but it shows the employees here are incompetent and are either careless or just crass enough to destroy orders left and right. Coming from the East Coast where Sonics know what they are doing and respond to customers in moments of the button being pressed (to add, the ones in Irvine are managed 100% better), its so sad to see one of my favorite "quick" spots turned into a hour long plus ordeal of incorrect food and slow response every time Im here. We will not be returning to this location any time soon unless theres some serious changes to staff and some training done in customer service skills and response time, which these people all lack. EDIT: Well, the drinks were wrong again. Expected at this point.

Were here on vacation from Alaska, and its our first time at a Sonic. We used the restroom, and then went to the walk up area, where we waited 15 minutes for someone to even start taking our order. I started off with a small candy slushie, blue raspberry with popping candy. Right after I stated the first item for our order, the order taker proceeded to say one minute. And then another minute. We walked back to our truck to go to the drive up, where the order taker kept apologizing. She couldnt hear us, we had to talk loud and slow. As slow as the sloths from Zootopia. We ordered 3 master blasts, 2 candy slushies, and an all natural lemonade. She told us the order total, which was for $6 more than it should have been. The delivery lady brought out a tray that included a bag, and proceeded to say she has a cheeseburger and the drinks/blasts. We didnt order a cheeseburger! So she went back in and we waited another 10 minutes... Meanwhile the order taker gets back on the intercom system where she proceeds to ask what we would like to order.. All in all, one word: IDIOCRACY!!! WE WILL NOT BE BACK AGAIN.

I waited 25 mins for someone to take my order.... no greetings either... my double cheese burger looked like someone sat on it.. wtf... never coming back to this one... i have sonic on base at Camp Pendleton n the service is great... now i have to drive to fullerton to get my sonic... thanx for trashing my day I was there at 1445. Things that needs fixing ASAP! 1. Clean the area. Trash every where. 2. Costumer service. That fast half aZZ greetings is insulting. work on it 3. fix your gear. The ATM/Visa Master Card paying stations.. a lot of them dont work 4. some of your girls dont know the meaning of proper hygiene. dirty pants. I know they are black (pants), but if you can tell that they are dirty.... thats nasty. 5. they wait is to much. only a quarter of the stalls where in use and I waited to long to enjoy my food. I was pissed and I didnt eat it. 6. the menu display. fix it. some of them you cant read them cause they are dirty, water marks etc. thats all I can think of at this time. Heading to Fullerton for better service.

I went to this Sonic yesterday and was getting slusheys and some food....waiting for them to answer the board took 15 minutes....to add to that another person pulled in next to me and they answeted him within a mnute....I got out of my car and went insude to let them know I have been waiting 15 minutes nd nobody is answering me and that people who are coming in after are being helped...then someone finally says they will get the manager ...they dont they just answer the board....when they finally bring food order is wrong I ask for ranch and ketcup she goes and helps someone else like i wasnt important enough....i go inside ask for it again....then she comes back....I told her I got it already....Worse service ever Im sticking to the one in placintia at least there they answer you and arent rude nor leaving sitting there and if they mess up rhey fix it....This sonic needs some serious help .....only gave it one star cuz wouldnt let me write a review without it I give it no stars at all
