The food was great! The spinach artichoke dip was delicious! But the service was unethical (I can take rude as long as the food is good, but not unethical). The shop was in the middle of a menu change. We got the old menus. We were charged the new, higher prices. We asked if they would honor the old prices, and it was made into a way bigger deal than it should have been. Our waitress was cussing at the front register to her friend about the price discrepancy, and when she brought back one of the checks she still hadnt made the easy fix. On partial military per diem, a $3-4 discrepancy on a check is significant. Solution: make sure you get the new menus.

this place is STUPID good! every time i eat here is just makes me laugh at how great it is, im happy every time im there. the pizza is just ridiculously good. i always get the magical mystery tour and every time, its perfect! tastes SOOOOO good! dont get me started on the beer selection either. they have probably 30+/- taps which almost every one is a GOOD beer, this isnt just filled up with garbage. tons of fairly local microbrew kinds of beers. also this review goes for ALL of the mellow mushrooms, i have never had a bad experience, heck i have only had GREAT experiences there!! 5 friggin stars, just a GREAT restaurant!!!

The fact that Mellow Mushroom can and will accommodate just about any allergy concern is awesome. Their Gluten Free crust is perfect for me and I love that I have an option to order great pizza without any worries. The environment is casual and laid back. The staff are friendly, but not as professional as some other establishments. However, the name Mellow Mushroom should tell you to expect chill wait staff. Great place to grab some awesome food. Keep I mind that it takes a while to make a pizza from scratch. So, dont go there starving. If you cant wait, order an appetizer or ask for a bag of chips to hold you over.

This location is just a stone throw away from the South Alabama college campus. We were greeted with a smile and sat down in a comfortable booth near the bar. The service is excellent and our waitress was very sweet, courteous and spot on. The food was excellent as usual, I had the Mighty Meaty and my kids had the plain cheese. They also offer a military discount, but just ask before you get check just to be sure.

The food is consistently excellent. The selection of beer is fantastic and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Sometimes the wait is long because the place is packed because the food, beer, and staff are excellent. Thats the price you pay for delicious delicious beer and pizza.

The food is delicious, the servers are awesome, you can watch your food being made, and you know what you are getting. The only thing that keeps it from being 5 stars is that it is always packed out, but with great food and service comes a large amount of happy return business. So, all good.

Live around the corner so I frequent this establishment for pizza and beer. Love sitting outside because I can bring my dog, and the staff love having him there: theyll sometimes bring him treats of bacon or chicken and veggies. Always friendly service.

I love the food. Great place to eat. Service is usually great. you may have someone that could smile a little more but they take good care of you. I love the pepperoni and pineapple pizza. Also the garlic parmesan pretzels are killer!

Amazing service! We were eating with a vegetarian that day and they have wonderful menu options for her. I had a delicious calzone and the hippy dippy trio app... theyre going to have some local beers there soon made in Alabama!

We had a fiends birthday party here. The staff was so helpful and even let us put the supreme cake in the fridge so we could eat without having to hide it. The food is always excellent here and the bar fixes really good drinks.

The pizza was good. The wait staff was nice and quick to attempt to help but very inexperienced (what do expect from college kids working their way.) The kitchen is quite slow, so if you have somewhere to be, skip this one.

Salad was partially wilted lettuce and mushroom only. Had to send pizza back to have the crust cut. Pizza crust was way overcooked, with a burnt flavor. Service was good, and all that keeps this from 1 star.

This location has a high curb when you pull in--BE CAREFUL! The staff was extremely friendly in helping us repair our tire. Apparently, somebodys tire get popped about once a month here. :(
