Had been traveling all day back from southern Oregon. Stopped for a quick diet coke and salad before tackling Snoqualmie Pass and the crappy weather. Multiple orders were filled for people who seated and ordered after my wife and I had ordered. The waitress finally went to check and see what the hold up was. To our suprise the shift manager brought the salads out (with no apology...). It took over 1 hour to get salads to the table - we joked that we should have brought our own lettuce up from Klamath Falls... I have business travel experience as does boon. Its also my first complaint posting.... I dont want anything from Outback in Yakima other than to say that in this economy service is everything. IF you are comfortable with your business and revenues then keep doing what you are doing.... I do sincerely hope this helps both: a) improve service and b) weary travelers who follow us through the area...

Went to outback to take my wife for a much needed night away from the kids and thought a steak sounded great.upon arrival we were given a great waitress by the name of Tania.i was unsure of what appetizer to get and she recommended the blooming onion which was exquisite and well worth it.its my new go to app.not once did I need to ask for a refill or anything to go with my steak all was attended to in a great manner and Id say our waitress really helped make our date night a great one.i really cant wait to go back for another night out and hopefully get the same service that was provided to us that day will recommend to all friends and family for future visits

Our server was great. No problem there. We started with the seared ahi appetizer. It was way, way too peppered. Ive had seared ahi in many places. I know it is supposed to be peppery, but this was overdone. Then our meals came. I has steak and shrimp, with s wedge salad and s sweet potato. I almost didnt eat the steak or the shrimp due to how much pepper was on them. The person I was with got the filet and lobster dinner with a baked potato and mac and cheese. The steak was too peppery for him, and he didnt even eat the mac and cheese because it, too, was over peppered. We left full, but a little disappointed.

Not sure what the guy below was talking about, but Ive been to this particular place about 3-4 times (I travel alot). Service has always been great, and they never made me feel bad for (1 guy) taking up a whole booth. The sitting down at your table thing (Outback requires this I think) is a bit schmaltzy, but when you travel as much as I do, talking to a friendly face is never out of line. The food at this Outback was exactly the same as every Outback (roadies like predictability... were boring that way). Its not Mortons or Ruths Chris, but the bill only has two (small) digits on it instead of three... ;-)

I just went there for my birthday yesterday with my family. And outback in yakima,wa is certainly one of the worst places Ive eaten at. The steaks are like a piece of cardboard with the sides to go with it. The waiter would take forever to get back to our table once he left and when he was there he was rambling on about different topics and louder than everyone in the place, people kept looking at our table because he was so loud. The prices make me wanna rob somebody for their money and then I can have money to eat there. But if I do I know that next time I will take my profit else where.

I have to say the lady that waited on us was a great considering all that happened. Order a Blooming Onion and it was dripping in grease when we got it. Also sitting in at least a half cup of grease so we sent it back. Was taken off the bill by manager. I ordered an 8 ounce sirloin and it was so tough I couldnt cut it. Also removed from out bill. The manager was talked to both times supposedly about our food but never bothered to come over to table. Wont go back. After sharing my story with my friends there were a number of them that had similar stories.

I come here every other week, and this time I was completely ignored by not one but 2 servers. One of them pasted my table 4 times and the other server pasted me twice to wait people that came on after me. I left. I called and spoke with the Mgr, Scott. I explained what happened and his first solution was to give me a gift card. In order to do that he would have needed my mailing info, which he didnt ask for. The only plus this location has is the young lady working as a hostess, who has amazing manners and people skills.

Weve been to Outback in several different states and have never had bad service until this location. My husband and I both had overcooked steak but the waitress was so busy, my husband ate his rather than wait for a time to send his back. We were told the staff doesnt sing "Happy Birthday" when we asked for our 3yo. We were also told the manager was unavailable to speak with us, right after we saw him walking around. We wont go back to this location!

I spend around 300 days a year traveling from coast to coast and boarder to boarder so I have literally eaten at an Outback in every state and its generally a good choice, I really enjoy their pork tenderloin. The outback in Yakima Wa is by far the worst one I have been to! I want to shout it from the rooftops so others can save themselves the trouble. This is also the first complaint Ive ever written about a restaurant.

When you order the signature appetizer and you think it comes before the main entree. The mash potatoes came out of a bag and did not get fluffed up to give it body. My Caesar salad was lacking life. Was wilted and had lots of brown. Croutons where soggy. The steak was perfect the server had forgottento even put in the blooming onion. Over all not the best time I have had at an Outback. Good luck to next time.

Service was slow, both my steak and husbands prime rib where salty. Not sure if it was our waitress or the cooks fault, but it took longer than usual to get our food (1.5 hours) for the restaurant not being that busy. Ended up getting our desserts to go. Then watched the manager take care of a couple who came in and they had all their food in under 30 minutes.

Heres the deal! The food wasnt terrible.... the waitress however basically took my order and billed me.....$0 for the tip....the server basically pushed up on us as wee cleaned up for her to make way for our order! Never go back! Managed very poorly because these people lack the training.
