Being of Indian origin, I am really picky when it comes to going to India cuisines especially when you have a ton of choices in Irving. Hilltop is one such restaurant where they never comprise the quality of food, service and always have plenty of varieties to satisfy my taste buds. I notice that lot of Indian restaurants cater to American crowd and tend to lose the Indian authenticity and forget the fact that people coming to dine at Indian restaurants are there for a reason and the reason being authenticity(to taste a real Indian flavor), luckily this restaurant tends sticks to basics, quality, service and flavor. I notice a few negative reviews on this site but I am guessing its before the management changed as even after many visits I decided to write this review and I recommend to everyone to try out this restaurant.

Should be <1 or negative. Worst Indian Veg Buffet. These guys do not know how to name the items in the menu. For example: If they are really serving Semiya (an indian version of noodles),they should have named it accordingly., instead giving the name noodles, will lead to misinterpretation. .Veg pulao, Paneer Tikka,French Fries,Tamarind Rice and anything that is supposed to be little spicy tasted sweet or sour(too much of tamarind). They serve barbequed dosas if you havent tasted it anywhere. The desserts they served are open and there were flies sitting on/licking the sweetness of the desserts. I just liked the lemonade they served and nothing else. Is it really worth paying $11 + taxes for just a good lemonade? Think before you step in.

Food was very delicious. As soon as I enter there was a warm welcome from a girl and accommodated in a pleasant location. Hilltop restaurant is a place where every one has to visit for good food and it has a nice skyscraper view of city. Well describing about interior it has a huge fish tank which beautifully crafted at centre of restaurant and has good lighting. Music was pleasant and catchy. The best part is dosa I had to say and chutneys tasted fresh. Talking about the patio... Id suggest couples to go have a candle light dinner because it has a super view of city. Its quite and refreshing to have dinner in patio. Overall Id give 5 out of 5.

Not very well organized. Dirty, and worse customer service. One individual try to do multiple service and ends up disappointing guests. I had booked banquet, it wasnt done until the event time and it was dirty and cleanup needed even after event started. If you reserve place for 100 people, make sure they fill up the food tray as needed, they try to slack off by keeping you in the limited about of food, and they make more money that way. Restroom, cleanness, customer service are the worse part. Prices are expensive, more than their market competitors. Please make sure to you do the better market research before you end up in this place.

Decent buffet but most of the food items are cold. They rarely ever refill the stuff. Also its open till 3 on weekends but the kitchen closes at 2:20. So if you come in after that dont even expect naan bread or anything. They have the tandoori chicken and other tandoori items but never any chutney go along with it. If you ask the wait staff they may walk around in the hall for a few minutes and then come tell you that they dont have any. Similarly biryanis dont come along with salan. Another thing is that they never change the menu. Same food is served every weekend. And the same thing goes for the weekdays.

We came here for dinner at around 9:15 PM and placed the order around 9:25PM and the food came at around 10:00 PM, whole 35 mins after we placed the order! We ordered some food to go around 9:40 and that was ready in 10 minutes. Somehow serving good at the restaurant, very very slow!!! This would probably be my last visit to this place. Update: when the food did arrive eventually, it was tasty. And during checkout then manager was kind enough to give a discount on the check. Updating from 1 star to 3 star. Had the service been good I would have given 4 stars.

I just called at midnight and asked if they had chicken bryani left, they said yes but i had to come before one. So i got there at 12:28 because it took me a half hour to drive there and they tell me they have none left. What a bunch of assholes. No respect for their customers and such a rude business. I hate that there is almost no good customer service when dealing with Indian restaurants. El markaz is one of the few places I go to that have great customer service every time. Shame on you for having no respect for your customers bryani pot.

Horrible customer service! We went there to inquire in regards to a private event at their location. We waited for the manager, without any assistance from the staff ... It would be ok if the restaurant was full and they were all busy ! But we waited in a completely empty restaurant, while the manager stood 5 feet away from us having a personal telephone call. If this is the kind of negligent service you get when you go there to give them business, imagine how they will treat you after they have your money!

Dined here during the midnight buffet on a Saturday. Contrary to what was advertised, all the food items were not good in the sense that they have been out there for a while and most items became dry. The restaurant was out of naans and they were not ready to refill it. This is not even closing time. Besides, the person who rang up our check was not courteous at all. When we asked about the stale food, his reply was not befitting. There was no sign of apology in his tone. Not going back!

The food was really bad, i dont how they have good reviews. The cost is on par with other local buffets but the food quality was really bad. The food had too much soda in it, so it was really hard to eat much. More over most of the food on Mondays and Tuesdays is left over food of Sundays. The restaurent used to be really good before but in recent times i have had bad experiences. So im never going back to this restaurant again. Advice to management; please make fresh food everyday.

This is the worst place ever i have been in irving. There is a lady server, starring at us very seriously as she wish"why did they came".I ordered soups, manchurian and chilly chicken. The manchurian and chilly chkn first and very late as i do not find difference in taste between those two.And the soup at the end.I brought my friend here for a treat and very well disappointed with the service.I hope the management will notice this and take the further procedings.

Its Friday afternoon but still Im confused whether is it Saturday night at a pub?? Yaa you got it right, Its Indian restaurant and its crowded for buffet. I waited in line like 5 mins to get around buffet items. Well to start with the taste, they are not really great. Since there are lot of people I felt the items might be excellent taste. But my assumption was completely wrong. The food is ok. Just give a try when you a get a chance

The food was delicious and authentic! Not for the casual "North American" pallet unless you are adventurous as the spice level was high. The lunch buffet was ample with a very large variety. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant very pleasing. Now I will mention that I was the only non--eastern person in the room and I did catch a few stares but I just smiled and enjoyed the meal. We will definitely be going back!
