Went out to meet a friend I hadnt seen in years. I arrived on time and let the hostess know I was waiting for a friend. I literally sat in the hostess area for 20 min and finally got a fb message from my friend asking if I was on my way and saying she was here and seated at a table. My friend had told them that she was waiting for me and it was the same hostess that I spoke to. 5 min. is one thing but 20 min? No one was paying attention nor trying to make a connection. I felt so disappointed that not only did they not make the connection but no apologies for the inconvenience. This is a time where many smart and successful companies are going the extra mile without a lot of cost to offer the customer an awesome experience. And this location is in an area where we are fortunate enough to have our choice on where to dine...take the extra step to delight your customer. You have a large enough host staff so that when they see someone waiting in the lobby for a while, pay attention to the incoming customers when you know one is waiting. If someone is waiting for an extended period of time in the hostess area, why not offer your customer a drink of water, iced tea, or something from the bar as a courtesy? It would be an incredible amount of good will. The bright side to this was that the server did a great job. Id tell you her name but she never shared it with us. I hope Redstone brings Delight in to their culture. I like the food and the location but Id be much more inclined to go back if I felt Delighting their customer was a priority.

I stopped here on the recommendation of a coworker. To keep it short, I really liked the staff and service, but felt the quality of the steak I ordered felt short. Im looking to try again and see if the result is a bit different. This restaurant is attached to the Plymouth Meeting mall. I went early on a Tuesday night and it was jam packed. Service was attentive and polite, the beer selection on tap was impressive (not a couple dozen taps but thoughtful with much thought on craft/micro breweries). I ordered the 16oz bone in ribeye, and I really, really appreciate their attentiveness to my allergies as someone with allergies. Mixed drinks were also well prepared in consideration to proper balances/taste. As far as overall value goes, the price for the steak (around forty) was a proper one for a steakhouse, plus it came with sides. I greatly enjoyed the sides. The steak on the other hand, was hit-or-miss. It was grilled ordinarily (as far as I was told) and while the outside was the proper texture and the inside was properly red for medium rare, it was not evenly done without and some of the fat in the ribeye was not rendered properly. As someone who has visited multiple steakhouses, I think the issues with the steak may be one offs and look forward to a future visit to Redstone.

Ive been to this place a bunch of times, as well as other locations all over. Last night I got a $40 Ribeye steak meal that was cooked perfectly, but a horrible cut of meat. Too tough to chew, made my jaw tired after the second bite so I stopped eating it. My son wouldnt take a second bite either. Ate my mashed potatoes waiting for my waitress. Showed her I could stick my fork in the steak just a hair, and pick the entire thing up off my plate because of how rock hard it was. Definitely not how a ribeye should be. They gave me a $6 desert to compensate me for a $40 disaster. NO MORE REDSTONE FOR MY FAMILY. I was very polite and said it wasnt the chef, it was the cut of meat that was the problem. They said they agreed. A $10 Acme choice grade cut would have been much better even cooked plain. NOT happy when I paid $10 less then Davios prices for prime steaks, to get a piece of shoe leather and wait 15-20 minutes to even be able to tell my waitress. Especially on a weeknight I expect better service. Disappointed. After countless trips here, I will not be returning. If I expected such horrible handling of a bad meal, I never would have gone in the first place. Not sure what policies they have on this, but its definitely not geared towards happy patrons.

First off, this place is way, way too expensive for what you get; there ARE some really good items on the (somewhat limited) menu, but others are really no better than you can get at a number of other chain restaurants. For instance, their flatbread pizza is no better than the one at Bahama Breeze, and their turkey burger is no better than Ruby Tuesdays very good version. They have a decent bar with a couple interesting beers available, but thats a little expensive too (though not as egregiously expensive as their food). The parking at this place is pretty rough, as despite the places outrageous prices, it gets packed. During the week, I am sure that most of the diners are corporate, and are expensing their meals, but that doesnt really explain the weekend, when Im assuming half of the population of the area empties out their 401k accounts to dine here. Seriously. How are they so crowded with those prices? Also, people seem ENAMORED with eating outside here. Why? So you can get a view of the road that circles the mall, and the mall entrance? Thanks, Ill take an indoor table.

I have to say we have been coming here for a long time. They know my brothers because they are here so often. Tonight we took a brother out for his birthday and we ordered our normal appetizers. We ordered the fondue with chicken and there was a bone in the piece of chicken. A perfect triangle that choked me so badly my mother in law had to assist me. I had to go to bathroom I couldnt stop coughing and could not eat my dinner. I am a mom and customer service manager I am not easily put off. But this!! They said nothing they took nothing off our six party 4 course dinner. They said they couldnt give us a discount due to their insurance?! No. That is inexcusable. We were given the general managers business card ( not here) and told us they could give us an incident report. At least our waiter was went out of his way to make sure I was okay!! At least he offered some kind of apology and genuine concern. If we ever come back he would be the reason. Nothing else.

I love Redstone when im eating at the actual restaurant but when you get this stuff to go, its quite terrible. I usually get the salads at the restaurant but the other day I got the Smokehouse Steak Cobb salad to go and for 15.00 it was the most measly salad I have ever eaten. The steak was really tough, and there was barely any lettuce (I could see the bottom of the container before I had even eaten any of the salad). I was also told that I couldnt request the onions to be removed because they were "in a mixture already made" but when I received the salad there was a pile of onions (whole rings) that appeared to be sautéed in the corner of the box... I easily removed them seeing as they were, in fact, not in a mixture. Really bummed. I will continue to eat in the restaurant, but I really wish they would up the ante on their take out!
