We were here for our first time on Jun 17th, 2017. It was my birthday. First and foremost - I had contacted several places in the area to make a reservation because I know how busy it can get in that area this time of year. This was the only place that bothered to call me back. When we checked into our hotel, we inquired abt the restaurant and they told us it was good but it was more of a sports bar. BUT, I am very glad we went. There are two sides to this restaurant - one being more sports oriented and the other being more of a restaurant/bar. We were greeted immediately and sat quickly. The atmosphere was lovely and not what I was expected for what had been described as a "sports bar". Our server was very friendly and made some suggestions on specialty drinks for me. My husband had wings to start and said they were some of the best hes ever had. (And he smokes his own meat so he is very particular.) His friend from Lincoln Park even texted us that he loved the place when we told him where we were. I had the wedge salad which delicious. My only suggestion would be to add bleu cheese crumbles please! I had a blue raspberry lemonade drink from the bar which was good but then switched to the Chipmunk Punch (yes, this is alcoholic) and LOVED that. My husband had ribs for his entree and I had the panko crusted chicken. My mother had the Del Monico steak. Everyone said their food was delicious. I can say that my chicken was cooked a little more than it should have been but it was not inedible. My moms steak was huge; she could not finish it. We topped it off with dessert and coffee - the servers treating me to a rendition of Happy Birthday with a candle in my ice cream. (LOL!) My mom had a raspberry cheesecake that was not on the regular menu so it might be seasonal but she - who normally eats a quarter of her dessert and take the rest home - devoured it. Our server inquired as to what hotel we were staying at and informed us we would get a 10% discount for where we were staying. When the bill came, we were pleasantly surprised - just over $100 w/o the tip. We had a great time and look forward to going back.

This place needs to use the term "grill" as loosely as possibly. The food is typically not "grilled" but boiled. I ordered ribs, the full rack. The meat was flavorless and obviously boiled beyond recognition. My date ordered the GRILLED chicken sandwich. Guess wHat? Thats right, the chicken was boiled and tasteless. On a positive note, the wings were delicious. Id stay away from this place as far as food goes. Additionally, they recently changed the menu. A couple walked in and asked for two specific items and were told that the restaurant no longer carries them. My advise to this business would be, keep the items hat work for you and stop boiling the food. No one enjoys boiled chicken or ribs. That other couple walked out without ordering. The service was nice and the wait staff was pleasant. Oh and lastly the swarm of flies that my date and I were swatting away during our meal, made the experience even worse. Any place that serves food, should not have flies swarming about. FYI to the mountain creek grill staff.

Went in at 5pm on a Saturday and the place was completely empty save for one table. After waiting a few minutes the host (who looked like a cast member of Jersey Shore, had grillz on his teeth, and smelled like he just climbed out of a pool of Aqua di Gio) showed up and asked us if we wanted menus. Yes. Did we want a drink menu? Sure. Did we want a dessert menu? Maybe later. We were seated and looked through the menu -- 15 minutes went by. Several employees walked by in that time but apparently none were our server. So we got up and left. 15 minutes in a completely dead restaurant and nobody taking a drink order is a bad omen. On the way out the host told us to have a good night. What a douche.

Amazing! Cant describe it any other way! Andrew is an amazing waiter! The fish bowl is to die for! Not strong and not weak at all! Absolutely perfect and delicious! I got the ny strip steak it was a little tiny bit over cooked than I wanted it but it was still bursting with flavor! Every was delicious even the sides! My husband got the full rack of ribs because we went on bbq night and he was knocked off the chair by how great it was! The service was phenomenal and Im definitely coming back Wednesday for the all you can eat pasta night!

Went a a snowy Sunday early afternoon. It was pretty empty so we didnt know what to expect. Surprise! Everything was wonderful from the greeter when you enter, the waitress and we couldnt find one thing to complain about any of the food we ordered, it all tasted delicious! Nice clean classy country decor. It may not be the cheapest place to go but it certainly is not the most expensive either. The portions well reflected the price and quality, you are going to well get more then enough for what you pay. We will definitely be back! =)

Ive driven by this place so many times and wanted to go in. Finally did and will not be returning . For starters, my moscow mule tasted like a mix. My husbands beer was flat. Our dinners, pulled pork mac and cheese with bacon & pork was gamey, seemed microwaved. My stuffed chicken and yellow rice dry and tasteless. Instead of putting flowers on the plates they should make better food. It was soo cold in there and after we asked the waitress to lower it a bit....it was still freezing! Overpriced & blah. Staff was nice.

Stopped in late afternoon on a Monday. There was no one in the place even thought Google had it earmarked as a "local Favorite". Looked very trendy and touristy. Service was so, so, even though they had no one else to attend to. Served us very stale red wine, which we had to return and ask for a fresh bottle. Food was about the quality of a TV diner. Skip it and find some other less polished looking place where you can probably find real good local cooking.

Went here to see the fight tonight arrived at 9 an hour goes by no one came to check on us so we asked for menus. We get the menus 30 later we tell someone we r ready to order they go the kitchen is closed for 20 min once its open someone will be around to you. 30 min later we see the same person who gave us the menus and asked if the kitchen was open they told us that the kitchen was closed for the night. Overall just poor service for the night
