Always a classic, I honestly had not been to a Dairy Queen in about 7 years. I remember it was a luxury when we would visit family in Texas. In any case, there were many nights I came across the DQ commercials with their tempting and tantalizing blizzard images flashing across my screen, only to recall that there were none in my local area...until NOW! When I walked into this Dairy Queen, I was blown away by the size of the place. Two stories of burgers, shakes and fries as far as the eye could see. I went with the toffee/oreo blizzard (a strange choice, I know, but Im a sucker for mixing all the things I love into one giant thing) and it was FANTASTIC. Its location is also neatly laid out for a nice walk home from a bar, when, obviously, youre tipsy and happen to crave a sweet treat! Love live the NYC DQ!!!

Love that NYC has a DQ, however the service is atrocious. I understand that they need some type of table service due to the size of the place, but it would be a lot easier if the 2 SEPARATE kitchens communicated. If ordering anything with ice cream or sweet, one side makes it and if you are ordering anything from the grill another side (of the register) makes it. It is confusing and very very very slow. The staff wastes a lot of time wandering around the restaurant looking for the one person that ordered a burger meanwhile the Ice Cream desserts are melting while you are tapping your feet trying to get your order. I gave it 3 stars because Ilove DQ. I just wish they were more efficient.

Food is made to order and hot which is good but there are no options for salad dressings that are not made with milk like vinaigrette for example. When I asked if any of the options for dressing did not have dairy while the cashier was nice his co-worker was very nasty. She laughed and said "we only have dairy because were an ice cream store duh." Which is ridiculous considering they have an entire menu of actual food.. her co worker at least was nicer about it. I work in food as well and one of the main rules is not treating your customers poorly especially if all they did was ask a question.

How it took so long to provide stale fries and grocery store freezer quality burgers is beyond me, unless they were trying to figure out how seven employees could do less. And for some reason, you get a receipt with a number, but have to know the goofy name of what you ordered because the people behind the counter dont know the name. And you have to forego ketchup because the containers on the tables get wiped down less than the tables. There is mayonnaise if you lean over the counter to get it - maybe I wasnt pronouncing it right. Stick with the ice cream, if you arent in a rush.

I went to your New York location and one of the employees was very rude to me. I asked for a ranch and she informed me that it was an extra 38 cents. I gave her 38 cents in change and she replied, "why cant you just give me a dollar. It would be so much easier". I then asked for a tray and she rolled her eyes and walked away from me. I informed the manager at the location of her behavior. After this, I noticed the employee kept giving me dirty looks. Ive always had good customer service at Dairy Queen, but I was very disappointed in the behavior of this employee

This employee harrased me at Dairy Queen. I would like to press charges for harassment, assault and battery. I also want to get a restraining order. In the video you can see him running to attack me, because I attempted to get him on video. He said "if you take out your phone I will slap it out of your hand!". Police and witnesses were there. Beware when you go to Dairy Queen he is completely unstable. I called Dairy Queen Corporate and placed a complaint, but they didnt do anything. Now it is time to lawyer up and get a restraining order.

Ok--I know it is just fast food, so you cannot really expect too much. But the food really was quite bad. It did not taste like anything really--had some chicken fingers and fries, and my friend tried a burger. I guess the only thing I can enjoy from Dairy Queen is the ice cream, and that is if you are just expecting a generic soft serve experience. I guess all the different choices around has made simpler ones lackluster. The restaurant is very clean though, and they have table service after you place your order, so thats a nice touch.

Horrible service! Lady at counter told me there was no ice cream whatsoever, I asked her and I couldnt believe it, but as soon as I sat down to wait for my order I saw other customers leave DQs with ice cream and blizzard orders. I think she just didnt want to go through the hassle of explaining what flavors or types they had. When I received my food, the bun was hard and the meat was severely overcooked. The only reason I go here is because its the only one in the city, its unfortunate they have such bad service.

Dairy Queen is like the endless summers on the beach with sand, sun and salty air. The sea gulls squawking and smell of coconut lotion. Bronzed bodies basking on the in the hot sun. Swimming in the cool waters. Sir….sir…what would you like to order. Errrrch….! Oh a Hawaiian blizzard please. Reality. The overly bright fast food décor greets you with a typical cashier’s counter and lighted panels of choices over head. He hands me the blizzard quickly turning it upside down. Dairy Queen take me away.

So glad that I dont have to travel to NJ to get my DQ fix! This location is interesting in the fact that the servers come to you if youre going to dine in. There is also extra seating on the second floor. We, unfortunately, went on one of the 1st really warm days and everyone wanted to get ice cream of course - the downside was there isnt a ton of space for the people who are waiting around to pick up their orders.

Food was pretty dry. You can tell the people who work here dont care too much about their job. I asked what the flavors were for the Sunday and the girl looked annoyed because she had to say all of them. I didnt know there were so many. And since she said it so fast I had to have her say it again. I ordered hot fudge and it wasnt hot. At least it was cheap. Real bang for your buck it you get the $5 meal

If your up for something deliciously sweet and cold or up for a burgers with fries or both I definitely recommend you try DQ out. The stores are seemingly a dime a dozen to find, and the price is basically a great for your moneys worth deal! The employees are kind, patient, and up for giving you a nice and fresh meal. I definitely recommend anyone around the city to visit this fast-food branch.

Customer service is very iffy at this location. Can take a while to get your food, and the employees dont seem to do anything about panhandlers coming in and harassing you for money. I dont appreciate watching my blizzard melt because the person behind the counter is too busy texting to hand it to me. The location is fairly clean, and the food tastes the way it should.
